HORRIBLE! Don't show up to complete work. Steve (owner) doesn't care. I'm happy to pay for what I get, but MUST GET WHAT I PAY FOR WHEN I PAY FOR IT!! My bathroom remodel project is now two days behind schedule that we were trying to finish before Thanksgiving. I chose this company based on positive reviews from here and Next-Door. Boy was this a huge mistake for me! UPDATE: Had to call another plumber to fix what was not done properly. They didn't secure the feed from the shower head nor did they block off the shower controls. Pipes were just loose and hanging. Please DO NOT USE THESE FOLKS!

From the first, in dealing with Terri, inspired confidence.  We bought the water system from mfr. on line, and contacted Carey to install.  Mfr never told us that the softener tank needed to be soaked 48 hours prior to installation, but Terri did.  John and Jay showed up on time with all parts and equipment necessary to get the job done.  They completed the installation in a professional manner.  We had requested additional unrelated services  be performed and they were ready to do that and installed steel mesh washer hoses on the washer.  After that installation John checked the other hoses, and recommended that those hoses not be replaced because what was there was good, even though he could have sold us hoses that he brought and charged us for putting them in.  After the work was done, they cleaned up and except for the new unit, one would not have known they had been there.
They carefully and patiently explained how to keep the unit working in the future, and how to get it going for now.  The price was very fair even if less quality service.I will call Carey plumbing for any plumbing needs in the future.

Excellent work at a reasonable price.  Work was performed by very nice and professional people. Unfortunately they are very busy so you need to take a relaxed view toward when the work will be performed.  For us the delay was minor and manageable and worth the wait.

Don't you just love a plumbing emergency on a Sunday?! John came out within a few hours of calling him when the spigot on the outside of our yard broke off as my husband was attaching the garden hose. We had gushing water and had to turn off water to the entire house to stop the flood. After trying several plumbers and getting message machines, John answered on the 2nd ring. He does charge time and a half for weekend work, but who doesn't? He was able to reattach a new spigot without cutting into the siding (thank goodness). He warned us to watch the area for leaks (since he didn't cut the siding to investigate) and we will do so. But all looks good for now.

My pipe broke on a Saturday morning and flooded my kitchen. I called John and he got out to me right away --on a Saturday morning!! He was professional, prompt, fixed my problem, and was very reasonable with price. He warranties his work and recommended a handyman to help with collateral water damage. I highly recommend him!!!!

Very good experience, as always. We have used Carey Plumbing for over twenty years and would recommend their services without hesitation.
