I called Will to see when I could get on his schedule. He stated he could be there the next day at 9am. That was great. He did an excellent job. He fixed the hole and got the texture to match the best he could to the rest of the ceiling. We also had a great conversation while waiting for the mud to dry. Highly recommended!!!

Will was awesome. Called me back within minutes of my first contact. He asked what my timeline was and since the repairs needed displaced my youngest daughter from her room, he agreed to show up the very next day. The work was completed quickly and professionally. Will showed up each day exactly as committed. The price was very fair. I would definitely recommend Will. He was a very friendly and capable.

First, of everyone I called on the list, he was the only person to answer the phone. I got the voicemail for everyone else. We made an appointment for him to inspect the damage the same day I called and he was promptly there when he said he would be. He explained what he thought what the repairs should be and gave me an estimate. We set the appointment and the repairs were done in a professional and efficient manner. I would use Mr. Phillips again and would recommend him to family and friends.

Will worked with my schedule to meet me at the house and give me an estimate for the work that needed to be done. He scheduled it quickly, showed up on time, and did a perfect job. You would never know that there had been any damage to my ceiling.
Will is a pro with "mad skills". In addition to doing great work - he's just a great guy. The world would be a much better place if everyone had his skill, integrity, and dependability. I called Mr. Phillips and he came out the next day to give me an estimate for the hole repair to my ceiling due to a tool being dropped thru by a roofer. Mr. Phillips arrived and he was extremely professional, knowledgeable and prompt. His work was exceptional. He made the repairs at a reasonable cost. He is an asset to his profession.

Beyond my expectations. I called Mr. Phillips in a panic as I had to have repairs done within 24 hours. He set up an appointment with me for the next morning. Mr Phillips arrive early to job site. It went very well. Will responded to my call quickly and came out the same day and gave me an estimate and explained that would be done. He scheduled the job for t h e following week. He kept in touch and arrived on time. I was surprised at the a.mount of prep time the kitchen took and how involved repairing popcorn is. Will was friendly and professional. He finished the job and cleaned everything up. After watching what was done the price was a real bargain. I appreciate the fact that he was willing to do this smaller job.

I was quite upset after a stacked plastic storage bin fell in the attic storage area of the house we are renting and made a hole through into the house. We have been in the house for a few years now and try to maintain it as our own. Even though we have excellent landlords who take care of an extensive part of the house needs, I was still very upset that this would speak to our irresponsibility and carelessness as tenants. It was an accident, and the landlords entirely understood, but nonetheless, there was still a gaping 10" x 10" section of ceiling now hanging down, with a smaller hole through and through.
Mr. Phillips contacted ME as a result of my request for an estimate from another Angie's list provider who did not do these types of jobs. It was an excellent call. Mr. Phillips was courteous and concerned. He described what he would do, and gave me a quote based on the telephone conversation, and a picture I sent from my cellphone. We agreed on a date and time. He re-confirmed with me a few days prior. He arrived on time as scheduled, and ready to go. He set to work promptly and I left him to do the job.
He worked steadily, and two hours later, asked me to take a look at the finished job. Before he started, I pleaded with Mr.Phillips to "make it look like it never happened"! And, that's precisely what he did! He repaired the surface almost perfectly to its pre-accident state, right down to the popcorn size and finish! It was level, even and "looked like it had never happened" ! I was most pleased! The finish was still wet, but he assured me because the rest of the ceiling was still "like-new" and had not yellowed or changed color, it would dry perfectly white to blend with the rest. It took a number of hours, and I held my breath hoping that it would be so. The next morning it was completely dry, and to his word, it perfectly blended with the rest of the ceiling.
Mr. Phillips is a top-notch journeyman in his trade. He assured me of his warranty, and said if there were ANY problems, to call him immediately. I was very happy and would call this man again in a heartbeat, or recommend him to anyone needing similar work!

Mr. Phillips was great about communicating with me the ways I requested (phone, text) at the times that I requested. His quote for the job was fair. He was ON TIME to my home for both the quote evaluation and the actual job. The job was done to perfection. We chose not to have the whole ceiling painted and he blended it beautifully. He cleaned up his mess and was very courteous to our home. The job was done in a very reasonable amount of time. I will use him again, as I have had ceiling repair before and know the difference in good and bad work. This experience was excellent! Highly recommended!!

My garage ceiling that was obviously needed to be reinforced and repaired. I selected Will Phillips name from the listing on Angie?s web site, and the positive comments. I contacted Mr Phillips. He responded and came by a few days later, and sent an e-mailed of an estimate within 24 hrs.
His estimate seemed fair. I told him that I would need several days to remove items stored items that would be in his work area. His first job would be to remove the ?popcorn? applied to the ceiling, it became obvious that more work had to be accomplished. He then gave me another estimate to re work the entire ceiling. Deducting the first estimate cost for work completed. He began each day at the time agreed upon, cleaned up each day, bagging and removing the drywall debris. Garage ceiling now appears
better than some of the house?s interior ceilings

Mr. Phillips arrived on time. He was able to add a new surface and painted our badly damaged drywall. It was a 3 day process. First day he added a surface that would make the wall smooth. Second day he sprayed the wall with a texture to match the other walls. Third day he painted the 2 wall that he had worked on.
During the whole process he made sure that everything was covered so that no dust would get into unwanted areas of the room and closet.
He cleaned his work area every day.
Mr. Phillips was kind, courteous and respectful of the fact that we were working people.
The walls that he worked on look magnificent. The walls look like they were never damaged. We couldn't be happier with his craftsmanship and detail to the rest of the room. i would use his services again if i needed to. I would recommend him to any of my family and friends.

This was a kitchen remodel of a house built in 1971.
As you can imagine there was every possible drywall condition that needed attention
from complete replacement, to repair, to texture matching.
Will Phillips did what every good contractor should do.
He got back to me within the day I called.
He showed up on time....every time.

He knew all aspects of drywall and made helpful suggestions

When two drywall panels of my garage ceiling collapsed, I began calling repair people to provide an estimate. Several couldn't come for days or weeks, although one gave me an estimate by phone. When I called Mr. Phillips, he arranged to come by that day, in between a couple of his jobs. He arrived within the hour and provided a surprising fair estimate, considerably lower than the one quoted by phone.
I arranged for him to return on my next available date. He arrived on time and immediately set to work. He spent four hours replacing panels, spraying on texture, and painting the new panels to precisely match the existing ceiling.
He was meticulous in his preparations, work, and cleanup. Mr. Phillips left no trace except for the perfectly repaired ceiling.

Provided detailed estimate and list of what we needed to do to support like all hanging wall items and shelf items removed as well as removal of all furniture except what was against the walls and just about a foot deep. Also fan blades removed and light moldings in the ceiling. Also no dogs, cats, or people running around. First work day 5 persons worked on removing the popcorn while protecting the house surface areas with plastic sheets. Then applied the knockdown texture then removed the plastic and cleaned up. For the next two days the house remained empty while the texture dried. On the fourth day the same people came back and painted the ceilings while protecting the house surface areas with plastic sheets. Then the plastic was removed and they cleaned up. The work looks wonderful.

Provided detailed estimate along with what we needed to do to support, like removal of all items hanging on walls and on top of shelves. Arrived early to start, considerate about being neat, protecting surface areas, and explaining what was going on. Kept to the estimate and schedule, one day surface preparation one day paint. Finished job was beautiful.

We recieved a quote from Will that was competative with other companies we looked at. We went with him based on his friendliness, quickness to respond to our calls and questions, and availablility to fit us in around other contruction we had going on in the house. His crew did a great job on putting up the texture. For it being a really messy job they cleaned up after themselves really well. A few days later Will came back to finish the painting.
