we called on tuesday morning 1/13/15 and left a message on the answering machine. they called us back on wednesday morning saying that they would come by around 1pm. it's friday morning and we are still waiting......they never called about not being able to show up or to reschedule.

Never contacted me back after numerous calls and emails.

There was water leaking from the freezer into the back of our refrigerator. I called on Monday morning for service and received a call back 20 minutes after leaving a voicemail message. I spoke directly with Vic and explained the problem. He quoted a repair cost of $89 which included the service call cost of $65 (provided the problem just a clogged freezer drain) and he or his son, Christian, could come by as early as that afternoon. Since I already had plans for the afternoon, we agreed on Tuesday morning between the hours of 10am and 12 noon. Christian called Tuesday morning at 9:15am to confirm the appointment and indicated that he would arrive within the half hour, 15 minutes ahead of schedule. Christian arrived as promised and was extremely courteous and professional. The drainage problem was fixed within a half hour by removing the ice maker and back panel of the freezer and unfreezing the clogged drain with a steamer. Even though Angie's List offered a 5% discount, Vic's website offered a 10% senior citizen discount, which was honored without question. I would certainly call Vic's Appliances Repair for any future appliance problem.

The ice maker stopped working and while the replacement was likely a simple task (10 minutes), his knowledge (and parts) were top notch in getting the ice maker working again.

Expensive but fine....good guy

Refrigerator stopped working on Sunday. Called Vic's Appliance Monday morning and left message. Received a callback within 15 minutes. Said they would be at my home between 1 and 2:00pm. Arrived at 1:50. Finished with the repair by 2:30. I was able to save my food. He was very polite. Had the part in his truck. Would highly recommend.

No work done, and no contact from Vic's Appliance Repair.

After removing the Drum, Vic removed and cleaned burnt Lint from the back of the Drum. Vic showed me how to remove the drum to clean for the future. Vic cleaned lent vent with LintEater.

Submitted an inquiry via Angie's List early in the morning. They responded to within a couple hours that they could come out that day! However due to my schedule I needed to wait until the following day. Vic arrived at the agreed time and quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem. Bad water valve replaced with one he had with him. Washer is working like a charm now! I would defiantly recommend and use them again.

Was very prompt and efficient in answering our call. Came to the house and and had the part available (igniter) in his truck. This was replaced and the oven was working fine. However, a secondary problem developed as a result of replacing the igniter. There was a slight smell of gas after he left so we called the Gas Company. They came and promptly shut off the gas to the stove advising us to call the provider. We did and he was there promptly the next day. He tried to see if the original part ( gas regulator) would work but it did not and had to be replaced. Discounted the labor for this repair.Very professional and courteous.

-He arrived on time and determined what the problem was; placed parts order; called and set up time to do the repairs-arrived as promised and completed the repairs in a timely manner; he was very polite; Everything is working fine.

First let me say that hands down from start to finish Vic's was the fastest service call I've ever experienced in my life. I called him around noontime and left a message that my dryer wasn't heating and I needed it looked at. He called me back around 12:30pm and I briefly told him what was wrong with my dryer. Within 15 minutes he was at my house and taking my dryer apart. He replaced the thermal fuse and explained to me that although my heater was registering as okay on his meter it could be defective and blowing the thermal fuse but he advised going this route first and see if it did the trick(cheaper too which I appreciated). I've already done two loads of laundry and everything is working fine. I would add that Vic is very courteous/professional and I would not hesitate to use him again. If I could give him an A+++ on everything I would a truly top notch service experience, thank you Vic and Angie's List!

The trouble started when I neglected to turn off the breaker to the oven before attempting to remove the top element in order to clean the oven. There was a spark, there was a hum, there was a puff of smoke. I had to wait until after I finished cleaning the oven to discover that the oven would no longer get hot. I called Vic and left a message. He immediately called back and said he was in the area and he could stop on the way to his next job. He was here in a half hour. He removed the oven and tested the element that I had trouble with. He reported that the element itself was still good. He then checked the junction box where the power was distributed to the oven and the cooktop and discovered one half of the 220 supply line had a burned wire nut and was no longer supplying the power required. I never would have thought to check that. It was clear to me this man had plenty of experience. I would have assumed a much more elaborate problem such as the control board ($$$). But, he dealt with the problem honestly and 30 minutes after he arrived our oven was working again. He charged a fair and honest price for his time and experience.

He was to return my call the same day he answered his cell, he never did have the decency to ever ret urn my call. Till this day he has never called ( 10/17/14 ) !!!! Very unprofessional. I had to call someone not on Angie's list to perform job. Very unhappy. Would like to see him removed from list.

I called Vic yesterday regarding my Sub-Zero fridge that was not cooling properly. He offered a same day meeting, but due to my schedule we ended up scheduling for today (he was very accommodating). He arrived right on time, was very professional and handed me his card right when I answered the door. He got right to the problem, and explained everything very well. Most importantly, he did not take advantage. A lot of service people figure expensive appliance will always = expensive repair, but Vic took care of this quickly and for a very fair price. I highly recommend him and will definitely use him in the future if I have trouble with any other appliances.

I called Vic at 9:30 PM expecting to get an answering machine. Surprise!! I got Vic live on the phone!! I was embarrassed. No problem says Vic - We (he and his son) just got home from work. So I explained my problem, gave him the model number, and he gave me an appointment the next day at 9:00. He arrived @ 9:45, but I was so glad to see him I didn't mind - getting to my place from Claremont, FL from Orlando his 8:00AM appointment is a 45 minute drive and it is very easy to get lost on the way, and especially in my Park. The Manufacture's Rep set up an appointment for which I waited a week, sat home all day, and he never showed! What a difference!!! Victor and his son arrived, let me explain the problem (with noise element it was easy) He immediately set to work with his son helping. He went right to the problem with tool he brought in with him (electric screw driver for cover), removed the noisy fan, went to his truck, came back with a replacement fan and installed it. Replaced the cover and installed a filter, replaced shelving - all in a matter of twenty minutes. He called his supplier for prices on the parts, which came to about $100. Since he had a drive here of about 35 minutes and a return to next job of about the same, 70 minutes total plus 20 minutes here, I suggest that his price was not unreasonable for two qualified men. At that I would have paid triple to get the problem fixed, having waited a week for the no-show repairman I had called previously, plus a full day at home waiting for him/her to arrive. Thanks Angie for giving me a company of 2 (Dad and Son) devoted, conscientious, well equipped, prompt, courteous, Knowledgeable, reasonably priced professionals. What more can I say!!! I know who to call the next time!!!

Vic was great. Comes in and handles situation quickly and efficiently. Gets job done and leaves with both parties having smiles on their face.

This is the second time I have used Vic'a Appliance. My call was answered quickly and we agreed on a time the following day. He showed up exactly when he was supposed to and even called ahead to let me know he was on his way - just like I asked. He was quick and professional. He had my machine torn apart in minutes. He identified an issue with the transmission moments later. Out to the truck he went for parts and right back to fix my machine. Since he was here, I mentioned that I saw a tiny amount of water in front of my machine just the day before. I was not sure if there was a leak or one of the kids/dogs might have spilled something. He took the time to let my machine fill up and checked for leaks. None were detected and I have not had a problem since. A little water was spilled when the machine was filling up. He was very professional and cleaned up the water immediately. While he worked, he even answered my questions about the brands he sees the least amount of issues with. A great help since I'm looking to replace my refrigerator and oven soon. My washer works again. The time he took from arrival to walking out the door was maybe 45 minutes. All in all, great service at a reasonable price and quick.

Came on time, stopped washing machine leak. Very polite and punctual. Good gladly recommend.

Made several attempts to contact vendor. Phone calls were never returned.

I called him after hours on a Friday night. He returned my call in 4 min, and gave me an appointment for 10 AM Sat Morn. He arrived earlier then anticipated. He got right to work when he arrived, and had my refrigerator repaired in a half hour. the price was much less then I anticipated, and I was very happy with all aspects of his service

Vic was on time & changed the fan on our fridge. This was a major job as the built in fridge had to be pulled out and the fan was hard to get to. I helped him and learned a little bit from the process. The noise unfortunately continued after the job so I called Vic. He advised me to empty the freezer, then place boiling water in the freezer so that if any ice had built up next to the condensor, the boiling water would help. IT DID! The noise has stopped for now. Vic was nice - ontime & gave good advice. He is now our go to guy for appliance repair in our home. Thank uu Vic.

Responded very quickly and the cost was reasonable. Nice family business.

I called Mr. Vic and he asked me to describe the problem briefly over the phone. I explained the general problem and he told what to do to fix the and if didn't work to call him for an appointment. I did what he told me and fix the problem. He is by far the best and honest repair person I've meant. Although he didn't physically come to my house, I will have to say that he performed virtual services.

Initially, he responded to me quickly and we made an appointment. He said that he could come out and look at the refrigerator. I had to cancel the appointment. When I called him back to reschedule, and left a message and didn’t hear back from him.
