We appreciated Totally Wired's ability to fit us into their very busy schedule during the holiday period, particularly since we only needed help with wiring connections for two TV's and related components. They managed to get most of the pieces working properly, but the cable company's DVR/STB for our new TV would not work through the HDMI cable. The techs advised me to return the box to the cable company and exchange it for a new one. Meantime, they used wiring I intended for my DVD player to connect the cable box to the TV. When I later exchanged the faulty DVR/STB for a new one and duplicated the wiring done by the techs, there was no picture, nor did this new box work with the HDMI connection. I am currently waiting for the cable co. to send a tech to figure this out. Meantime, thanks, again, to Totally Wired for their very courteous and professional assistance.

Just recently moved to the Orlando area and knew ahead of time I wanted all kinds of "techy" things done to the house before I moved in. I called a few people and weren't really impressed. No one wanted to "work". When I explained what I wanted done all I heard was a bunch of excuses and reasons why it couldn't be done that way. Everyone just wanted the easy job to make a few bucks. But then, lo and behold, I called Totally Wired and spoke to Peter and explained to him what I wanted done. It was quite a large project but without even seeing my house Peter was enthusiastic to get the job done the way I wanted. We scheduled a walk through of the job a few weeks later when I arrived and Peter and Nick looked around and not only said they could do what I wanted but offered recommendations on how to make things even better. Now, let me be clear, their recommendations were not in a pushy "lets try to make extra money way" but sincere recommendations that I had not even thought of that made perfect sense. For example, I thought my outdoor speakers would be better mounted in a certain location but Peter assessed my outdoor area and recommended a different setup to get the best sound out of the speakers. And when it was all said and done he was absolutely correct. The speakers sound great and cover the pool area as I wanted. He also even walked me through setting the speakers up on the Sonos app and adjusted the settings for the best sound. Now lets talk about what I was most impressed about. Have you ever spent hours upon hours in an attic on 100 degree days running wire to your circuit breaker and dropping wire down the walls to add outlets? I spent about five minutes in the attic and tapped out. These guys are workers. They take pride in their work and ensure wires are secure, connected properly, and wires/outlets hidden (outdoor tv, ring cameras, sonos mounted speakers, etc..). I stressed to them before the job that I didn't want wires showing and wanted all my mounted devices clean looking and they delivered as promised. Peter even neatly wired all my devices behind my tv (sonos amp, modem/router, data hub, hdmi splitter). I had about 12 light switches that I needed reconfigured and Leviton smart switches and fan speed controls installed. Some rooms the first switch turned the light on while the third switch controlled the fan. Other rooms the first switch was dead, the second controlled the ceiling fan and third the light. I wanted all the rooms the same (first switch controls the light, second is fan speed and third switch wired hot with a cover over the switch so no one turns power off to the wall outlets). Nick moved effortlessly from room to room moving switches around and installing my new smart switches. He is so good he even found an error with the manufacturer who labeled a certain wire wrong on their install diagram. Now all my light switches are configured the same and I can even control them with an app on my phone. Next, Peter and Nick installed a Ring Doorbell and four Ring cameras around my house and all needed power ran to them. They provided options and recommendations on the best placement of each camera and then cleanly and neatly installed all of them. They turned out great. Nick even removed my Ring Doorbell and installed an angle bracket after seeing that the doorbell camera didn't quite give the best coverage of someone approaching the door. And what is great about Peter and Nick is that they are friendly and a joy to talk to. They know what they are doing and explain things in a manner that you can understand. I personally felt the price I paid was a very reasonable price considering the scope of work. I already have other electrical projects in mind and will definitely have them back out to do the work. If you are looking for a company to have electrical work done look no further. From your basic light switch/outlet installs to more advanced "techy" gadgets like cameras, speakers, smart switches and whole house automation Totally Wired can do it all. These guys know what they are doing. Peter and Nick, thank you for an awesome job! Look forward to working together on more projects in the future.

Peter and Nick are awesome!!! Wow! I am so impressed with their work. They were prompt, courteous and did excellent work. I hired 3 or 4 other folks who screwed up my walls and wires but Totally Wired came in fixed all my issues and the previous shoddy work. You wont be sorry if you hire them.

Peter did a great job repaired sound system and wall mounting the flat panel television sets. Everything works perfect and professionally done.

It went great! Peter and his assistant installed an approximately 40 ft cable run from my computer in the study to a Cat 5 outlet in our family room. Once the connection to our "smart" TV was made, he performed the TV LAN setup. Very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. I definitely recommend Totally Wired!

I contacted Peter after 6:30 PM who answered immediately and he made several suggestions I could try to narrow down the culprit. After multiple callbacks as each suggestion was tested it was finally determined - sadly - that my Marantz SR6006 a/v receiver had three bad speaker outlets. Peter was extremely patient and responsive while I worked thru the various scenarios. I appreciated his willingness to work with me on the phone and the free advice which also saved him time and expense in travel. Highly recommend to all looking for diagnostic solutions and will not hesitate to use him in the future!

Peter was amazing and did beyond the services included in the deal. He did point out some other issues that we needed to execute so we ended up doing more than originally intended. However, there was no pressure and Peter came out twice to make sure the job was done correctly. I would definitely hire them again!!
