The moving team was prompt, courteous, well groomed, and extremely efficient; they know their business well! Also, the moving consultant (who came to the home), and administrative support was also highly professional and knowledgeable.

We recently used Suddath Relocation Services of Orlando in move of our residence contents in Apopka, FL to New Braunfels, TX.  Suddath Relocation Services managed all packing of our home contents and move to Texas.  The home in Apopka was slighly over 3800 square feet and the new home, where we are living temporarily until a new home we are building is completed is considerably smaller.  Hence we also had to move some of the contents into a storage unit in Texas until our new home here is built.
From the original planning of the move and accompanying estimate of the cost, through the packing, loading, move, unload, and unpacking, every member of the Suddath team was highly professional, efficient, and friendly.  The packing and move was done at a fixed, all inclusive price.  Not surprisingly, the original estimate on the size of the load was spot on.  Suddath worked well with us to make a few small changes to the move inventory as my wife and I made several changes on decisions on what was going and what was staying behind.  Those changes were easily and quickly addressed.  The guidance and schedule provided by Suddath to help us plan the move was excellent and very helpful.  The Suddath estimator and move coordinator were very helpful to us as well in providing good advice and many helpful suggestions.
The packing of our home contents required three people who worked skillfully and carefully for two days packing all the contents for the move.  It required the same team a full day to get the load on the van for the move and they were careful with both the contents of the home and protecting the home itself as everything was packed and loaded.
They arrived at our new location in Texas quickly and as promised.  Suddath also communicated with us daily throughout the move to let us know the progress and what to expect as well as make sure all was going well.  I cannot say enough good things about the care and attention we received from the entire Suddath team.
On arriving in Texas all was unloaded and placed either in our new home or a storage unit we rented to hold the overflow of contents from a larger home.  The entire process was both efficient and very well done.  While we are still unpacking boxes and will be for a week or so, we have found everything to be in excellent shape after the move.  We have found no damage to anything yet and expect all will be fine.
We would highly recommend Suddath Relocation Services and found them to be an excellent service provider.  Our sincere thanks to all at Suddath for a great move.

Dan Lees came to our home and did a really thorough job providing us with a detailed estimate.  We went over every item in each room.  By the end of his visit, he was able to email me all the information.  I contacted him several times after his visit with questions.  Each time he answered my call, or returned it shortly thereafter - even on a Saturday!  We ended up choosing the same mover we had used on a previous move, but I was very impressed with Dan's professionalism and I am confident that Suddath would have done a great job.

From start to finish, this move was excellent. Although the initial price was higher than some competitors, I had to most faith in the estimate because of the thoroughness of Dan Lees. He opened every cupboard and closet in my house as he constructed the estimate. Then, and here's the unbelievable part, I received a refund after the move because the weight of my stuff came in under the estimate. WHO EVER HEARD OF GETTING A REFUND FROM A MOVING COMPANY??
Remember that you get what you pay for. Even though the initial estimate was higher than others, I received EXCELLENT service from start to finish. The driver and the workers, the packers and both loading and unloading, were terrific. THANK YOU!

I'm extremely impressed with Suddath-United. I was attempting to move myself to Texas and it was not coming together, so I called Suddath to organize a last-minute move. Dan, the manager, rearranged his day to fit me in earlier than his schedule initially allowed and did a thorough job with the estimation. The quoted price was very reasonable. I will update this review when the move is complete.

Had damage done to my new home.  I did not see it until after the mover left. I was encouraged by several people I spoke to at the company to put in an insurance claim.  This turned out to be a total waste of my time.  I had to get several estimates of the damage (which was not easy to do, since they had to be free estimates, and the repairmen in this area are limited) and write numerous emails and insurance claim reports. The insurance division would ask for more information, then send a claim denial immediately after, before giving me time to follow through.  No one from the company ever came out to look at the damage.  The Orlando general manager just said she believed the mover (who said there was no damage) and not me (via email).  No one with the authority to make a decision regarding the claim ever called me personally.  I also put in a claim with the Better Business Bureau and it took about eight weeks to get a response.  The BBB kept sending out requests for them to respond.  After spending over $7,000 on the move, I expected much better customer service.  Or at least some concern.  I kept getting asked if this was an employer move, and felt as if I would have received better customer service if the answer had been yes.
Also, I had to request a refund several times for items I paid (in advance) the movers to pack, that did not end up getting packed by them.  I also did not like that they used different movers on both ends of the move, so I kept having to tell them where all the furniture should go.  And I never did receive a survey on the move, which is information the salesman used to show me how satisfied their customers are and told me everyone receives a survey...well not me...Do not recommend.

I am in the process of getting quotes on an interstate move. I called this company and asked to speak to an estimator. I was transferred around to non-answering phones. At one point I told the operator that no one was answering the phones and they just rang and rang. She told me that something was wrong with their phone system. She did not take my contact information, however, she just transferred me to another ringing phone. Wow, I do not want to do business with a company that demonstrates this low level of service. As a business owner myself, may I suggest further training for those persons answering the phone.

They're a good company overall. Any damage was minor and taken care of by the company.

Suddath's representative, Dan Lees, came to my home and did an on-site estimate. He estimated some 6000 lbs of items; the actual total was some 5400 and I shall receive a modest rebate. On-line movers, using data I supplied, estimated some 3000 lbs. That was how they came up with significantly lower estimates, but their final price, once they established the actual weight, probably would have been about the same based on their per-pound rates.

Dan Lees was excellent. He answered his cell-phone promptly, did everything he said he would, delivered more than enough packing supplies, and was completely professional and competent. The same goes for his office staff, who monitored the entire move and called frequently to ensure I was satisfied. The moving team arrived punctually. They were uniformed and very polite and helpful. It took them about four hours, working in nearly 100 degree heat, to get everything packed and loaded. The driver, Chris, was very knowledgeable and helpful. His truck was modern and immaculate, and he had ample supplies of padding, stays and other essentials. It took seven days for my furniture to arrive. Chris kept me informed throughout, and arrived exactly when he said he would. His California team matched the Florida team for their skill and courtesy. Unloading took less than two hours, and they assembled and installed whatever needed to be so handled. They removed much of the packaging.

The entire experience was completely satisfactory. Nothing was lost or damaged. It was about as easy as it could get, and completely unlike the horror stories others have experienced with less competent movers. Suddath are not cheap, but you get what you pay for with them, and given all the other stresses and strains of moving, I strongly recommend them. Max Davies

The estimator was on time, very professional, thorough and very upfront. He provided a detailed list of charges, didn't try to gloss over or sugar coat anything. Ended up going with a different provider for cost but was still very impressed with this company. If need another major interstate move in the future I will call them.

It was less than perfect. They damaged a dresser and had to reimburse for it. They did move my other valuables with no problems. The dresser was damaged at the storage facility. They were very nice overall.

Called and got a person to come to my home and give me an estimate the next day. Got a written estimate and contract. Got the date for the packing and the date for the move. These were the following week.

They were four hours late. They tried to charge me for an extra hour. They broke one of my pictures and one of my computers. Now I can't get anyone to call me back to put a claim on it, even though I had paid for an extra $100.00 for an insurance.
