Stone Spirit Inc. is one of the few companies in USA that implements CNC (computer numerically controlled) machinery for granite processing and fabrication. Without these machines, all the fabrication process would have to be done by hand. Our machinery always uses water, and since it is controlled by computer, it follows the line of the edge perfectly to guarantee smooth, shiny edges without the bumps. Computerized design and fabrication will not only allow increased production and faster fabrication but will enable the stone industry to provide customers with complicated designs and custom-created artwork

I ended up buying engineered stone which is natural stones which are ground up and mixed with binding materials. Unlike granite, they don't require sealing yearly. They don't stain and withstand heat and knives. I love it!

They delivered the wrong granite and would not return and replace it. I have spoken with the owner who told me I would have to call my lawyer. Below on the computer is a picture of the granite I approved next to the granite I got.

We choose Stone Spirit because our general contractor had worked with them on other projects and told us about their computerized measurements and templating and the ability to preview our design with whichever slabs we selected. We had a complex kitchen layout and found that the computerized prices would probably assure an accurate outcome. Initially we looked at granite slabs that they had in house but chose to shop for a wider selection. When we found our slabs, Stone Spirit picked them up in a few days. Ultimately, our results are excellent. The only issues we had were in scheduling-we had to wait a week from the time the cabinets were ready to be measured and then another week for the installation. On the plus side, we did sit with the engineer and preview our slabs in our design before approving. Igor did a great installation.

Initial meeting with the designer who prepared the template went well. He had helpful design ideas. The template was created through a computerized system; however, it required manual design changes which were not made. After installation, the countertop did not fit properly against an end wall. A gap of approximately 3/4 inch had to be covered by a trim piece, at my expense, by an independent contractor. Before installation, I inquired about a sealer for the white marble. I was told the countertops would not be sealed. I was shocked since marble is a very porous material. I had to sign a waiver not to hold Stone Spirit responsible for stains before they would agree to apply a sealer. Then I was told I had to purchase the sealer and drop it off the same day as requested because fabrication was almost complete. Next, I was told the sealer had to be ordered from the manufacturer located in another state. Finally, someone at Stone Spirit located a local supplier. I left work to purchase the sealer and deliver it the same day, as requested. When I got to the supplier, I was told the fabricator, i.e. Stone Spirit had to purchase the product to ensure the 15-year warranty would be effective. Stone Spirit then instructed me to come to their office and prepay for the sealer before they would purchase it. I could have accomplished this with a credit card, by phone, and not missed half a day of work. Installation was delayed. On the ultimate installation date, the workers did not show up on time; however, I was called and told the crew was running behind. Imagine my surprise when the marble was not sealed. The sealer was applied on site, at my house. The installer poured the sealer on the countertops and it dripped all over my kitchen floors. No plastic or cloth covers were used, whatsoever. The installer said it would wipe right up. He didn't bother cleaning it. By the time, he left me with the job, the sealer was dry. It did wipe up, but it took some elbow grease. The sealer dried streaked and splotchy on the marble countertop. This was mid-October. It took until January before someone came out to resolve the problem. I will say that the person who buffed the countertops and reapplied the sealer did a fantastic job. He was an independent contractor, not an employee of Stone Spirit. The fabricator, i.e. Stone Spirit, has to register on the manufacturers website in order for the 15-year stainproof warranty to go into effect. As of this time, mid-March, i.e. 5 months later, Stone Spirit has not done this. I have sent them the completed form. It would take approximately three minutes for them to enter it, adding the company name and fabricator number. At this point, I am beginning to wonder if I will have a warranty at all even though I paid $330 for it (product cost without warranty is $35). Based on my experience, I would not recommend Stone Spirit. There are too many other fabricators in Orlando.

Lets start by saying that the staff was very friendly, knowledgeable and knew what they were doing.
We were nervous as we had never redone a kitchen before... The sales person assured is along the way and was there.
They showed me around the showroom and then in the back where they actually do the work. Very impressive machinery and setup they have. ASK for the tour when you go by.
What I liked the best was that they did the work there. I was able to see the RAW material and hand pick the stone from the lot and that is what they made my kitchen counters from.
If I had to do it again I would go back and choose them.

Overall, I was pleased with the timeliness of their response and would have used them if the quote was lower.

We purchased our stone from them and they installed it as well. I was very impressed with their price. We chose the slab and they cut it for us. They made sure that the most attractive pieces were showing. They arrived on time. I would use them again in the future.

We had to hire a plumber on Monday to disconnect the plumbing. On Tuesday stone spirit came, took out my cooktop, and put the new granite countertops on. When they left, the cooktop was on the floor, some screws from the cooktop were still under the cabinet and some were on the floor by the cooktop. We called the owner and he said they don't replace the cooktop. We said that since we didn't take it off, we are not sure how it goes back together. He said they only do the granite. We then had to hire an electrician on Wednesday to hook the cooktop up again and a plumber on Thursday to re-hookup the plumbing. Four days without water and three days without a cooktop. I would suggest hiring a company that does all the work themselves. We had an estimate from one of these companies but decided against it. The granite does look nice but not worth all the hassles.

The job was a bit noisy but the work was great. It was kind of hard to understand them, their English was broken and they could ve been a bit cleaner too. All in all, I am happy with their quality.
