Amazing experience. 2016, purchased Speed Queen washing machine at Southeast Steel. 2-1/2 yrs later, front panel, under pull-out dispenser, rusted badly. SQ sent new front panel but refused to cover $155 installation. Called SE Steel to “complain”. To my surprised, SE Steel immediately reimbursed me $155. One of best customer service responses in 50 years of buying appliances. If you need good appliances sold with integrity, go there first. I am a customer forever.

They did everything I was looking for and helped. They were an excellent company. The prices are very right, there is no luxury in the store they have a lot of people helping people. They are friendly and helpful.

They were the only ones who carry the brand I like. They are fair and very friendly. They carry higher grade of equipment. 

They were recommended to me 25 years ago.    I had a rental property that I bought appliances for and I bought a few for myself. They usually give me a good saving towards the better value.  They know what I want. I want medium quality with the best value. I don’t want to pay high end just to get a few more years even if you have to buy one more frequently.

They could maybe get out more efficiently and maybe not wait long for them. It took them a while to get out here. The good thing about it is that they do the work right. I guess the bad thing is you have to wait a while for them. They do not always come out when they say they do.

We wanted to replace all the appliances in the kitchen so we took a trip to the store based off reviews from this website. Our salesman, Mr. David Cole helped us right away and listened to what we wanted. We were very pleased with his customer service and knowledge of the different products. Southeast Steel as a good selection of different products at all price ranges and never once did we feel that he was trying to sell us on the more expensive items. As I said earlier, he listened to us and showed us products that he felt best matched what we wanted.
All four (refrigerator, stove, microwave, and dishwasher) appliances we delivered that weekend. I felt that the communication from the delivery staff was excellent. They showed up exactly on time and within an hour all of our old stuff was gone and the new stuff installed and working.
I recommend Southeast Steel because they are a local business and they know their products. Everyone we came in contact with from Southeast Steel was knowledgeable and had a great customer service attitude. We never felt pushed to more expensive items that we didn't need. I can't think of a single thing that could of gone better.
I did not review them on price because we did not shop around. They were our first and last stop.

It's like a small business and they have better prices than other places we've looked at. We've used them before. They are very good with when do you want it delivered. And they go the extra mile. They are very good. We chose them because of the price and then our previous experience with them. They are very helpful. They are not pushy. They are extremely knowledgeable about their products. If you have questions, they will find out for you if they don't know. The people and their service are great. I would get everything from them if I could. They delivered it, but we are going to have an electrician install it. In the past we had their installers do stuff and they are all wonderful.

Our contractor installed the appliances. They were very good. I've used them in the past when I bought some of our old appliances. We bought a washer, dryer and refrigerator there before.

Southeast Steel was one of two local companies selling washer dryer brand I was interested in. I'd done a lot of research prior to purchase - sales person confirmed what I already knew. Delivery team willing to make several adjustments due to size of laundry room. Wish they spent more time explaining basic features and how to use them. I had to call them within 15 min. of leaving because the dryer wouldn't turn off.

Thoughtful, knowledgeable, and helpful sales presentation in the store. Very helpful in explaining the features of the various machines and the various strengths and weaknesses of each. After looking at the same products in several big box stores, we returned to Southeast Steel and bargained some on the price. We were able to obtain a slightly discounted price. Delivery was the day I asked for it and was on time. Installation went well-both installers were polite, friendly, and quick. They hooked up the new machines and carted off our old ones. My wife is very satisfied with the purchase.

The delivery and set up was done in a very timely manner. We are renting so the selection of the refrigerator was done by price only. But the set up by Harry was the best, quick and neat.

I will use them again in the future.

Southeast Steel just goes about its business quietly in its ugly downtown warehouse. We always check prices at the TV screamers' places and generally shop around. Once we have a feel for the price of the item we want, we then go to Southeast Steel. As in the past, the freezer we wanted cost less there than at the other stores. Their sales staff are all exceptionally knowledgeable about their products, but not pushy. We feel comfortable going there.

My only 3 year old washer conked out the week before Christmas. I really liked the features of this washer but didn't want to be stuck with lemon again. I never liked the dryer to this pair - it overheated constantly. I had done alot of research before I bought this unit and I was bummed out that the research didn't pay off with a machine that lasted only 3 years. I consulted another company about repair and the repairman suggested to replace this machine as the repair would cost $600! I asked what he recommended - his business only included repair, no sales. He said he has had the least repair calls for Frigidaire front loaders. So I thought I may have to where dirty clothes throught he holidays, but no, I found a good set at a good price at Southest Steel. I checked Angie's List and then I checked the Southest Steel website. When I got the store the deal was even better than the website ad. All this before Christmas. The salesman knew alot about the units, the installers were efficient and fast. Very punctual. I was very happy with this sale. I don't have as many features on this unit as the previous one, but it washes well and the dryer doesn't get as hot. I also enjoyed the special they had on the pedestals - I never had those with the other units, they are very handy for storage.

Very well. I appreciated that Salomon was willing to negotiate the price fairly to match my best price for the same products purchased elsewhere. Both delivery dates were within a week of when I bought the units. The installers were very professional. The refrigerator installers managed to correct an oversight on my part (switching the door to open the other way) before bringing the unit inside. For that I tipped them especially well. The dishwasher installer was a very pleasant retired gentleman who worked very fast and efficiently. He was in and out in less than an hour. I've had no issues since the installations with either products. I'm very happy with my purchases!

Craig Menzies was the salesman. The appliances were delivered about a week later. I was very satisfied with their selection and their prices. I had checked out other prices and brands. Their prices were clearly better. The salesman was very patient at explaining the differences to me and which ones tended to have fewer problems. The delivery was on time and the appliances have all worked well. I had to deal with some warranty work and Mr. Menzies was very helpful with that.
