"We would like to address the concerns you raised regarding your patio project and clarify the circumstances surrounding this matter. Deposit & Materials ? The initial deposit you provided was applied strictly toward the cost of materials. At this time, no payment has been made toward labor. Weather Delays ? From the outset, we communicated that weather could impact the project timeline. Unfortunately, rain created issues that required additional rework of the concrete, and we have already spent more than your deposit on materials in order to ensure the project could be properly completed. Scheduling & Your Availability ? The project could have been completed earlier; however, you asked us not to return until after your vacation. In good faith, we agreed and assured you that no further payment would be requested until the work was finished to your satisfaction. Communication & Scheduling ? We did not hear from you again until Sunday evening. At that time, we explained that our schedule was already full but that we could return on Thursday to complete the finishing work. Conduct & Options Provided ? While your communications with us have been less than courteous, we still offered to provide a discount should you prefer to hire another company to finish the project. Our Position Going Forward ? The concrete slab itself has been poured and is in place. What remains is the leveling and finishing work, which we are more than willing to complete as originally agreed upon. However, we cannot agree to a refund request, as no labor charges have been collected and the slab has already been installed. We are committed to completing the project according to our agreement, specifically by addressing the finishing work needed on the concrete slab. We stand ready to return on the scheduled date to complete this work so that the project is finished to a satisfactory standard. Respectfully, Sharp Remodeling and More"

In your case, we performed four separate projects for the price initially quoted for just one and extended a 30% discount on the original estimate as a gesture of goodwill. While we did experience some temporary labor challenges during your project, you never raised concerns at the time and we believed we had an understanding relationship built on resolving any issues quickly and professionally. We take pride in being an honest company that stands behind our work. Our team addressed and resolved the issues that arose during the process, and we were committed to seeing your remaining work through. Unfortunately, the situation changed when payment for the completed and ongoing work was declined, which limited our ability to continue. We remain proud of the effort our team put forth and are always looking for ways to improve. Thank you again for your feedback and for allowing us the opportunity to work on your home."
