The packers were very friendly and efficient. They refused to pack many things that we had to take ourselves. The problems developed with the salesman who wrote up the order/estimate. This was a corporate move and included packing, shipping 2 cars, and transportation to and unloading in Orlando. The company wouldn't return calls until we would call dispatch. Left many messages and was constantly frustrated. On moving day the loaders were amazing and did wonderful job (we tipped them $120). The problem was nobody showed up to disassemble our exercise equipment. After many frantic calls finally the dispatch called and said someone was on the way. Two guys showed up and the equipment was taken apart and loaded. There were two other households already on the truck and took up approximately 2/3rds. of the 40' truck. Fortunately we had given our custom built 13' sofa and large recliner to our cleaning lady because they would not have been able to fit another thing on that truck as it was stacked floor to ceiling. The next problem arose with the car transporter. We came to realize that this was an outside contractor. Bekins told me that all persons evolved with our move were Bekins employees, come to find out all persons evolved were sub contractors. I don't know about the salesman/estimator. We had planned on leaving Dallas the next morning in a rented van so we could transport all the things Bekins wouldn't and kept calling and leaving messages that our cars haven't been picked up yet. We finally got a call about 12 noon from someone we couldn't understand that worked for a transport company in Orlando. She didn't know where her driver was or when he would arrive. Finally he called about 5 PM and arrived about 6. Never a call back from Bekins. We arrived a day before our furniture. The same great driver and 3 guys he hired locally. They were great. No one came to assemble the exercise equipment and no one returned our numerous calls to Bekins. Fortunately we had a room that we set aside for the equipment and just had is placed there. The driver even tried to get someone to come put it together with no luck. We had a number of damaged articles that were obvious and noted by the driver and found other damaged goods as we unpacked over the next week. I kept calling our Dallas Bekins to find out when the equipment would be put togather and finally received an email 2 weeks later that they were not going to do it. They said it was not listed on their invoice thus they were not responsible. I finally got hold of the Orlando Bekins and they referred me to a company that came out 2 days ago and cost us $240. Almost 2 months after our move. The damaged articles have not been addressed. I have sent their claim form and have not heard anything from them yet. When the exercise equipment was assembled new damage was discovered and noted on their invoice. I don't have much hope of getting ANYTHING resolved with Bekins even though I took out the 100% insurance coverage. What a bunch of crooks - don't use them.

Bekins Moving & Storage was excellent.

The original estimator had underestimated the volume of our goods. The drivers broke a lot of things. The people on the truck broke a lot of things. We had some things that were stolen. I would not use them in the future.

They guaranteed delivery in Colorado on a certain date. We chose this company based on the delivery guarantee. They missed the date by two days. I wrote to the company and received no response.

THEY ARE FINE. THEY JUST DID A GOOD JOB. THE INDIVIDUALS WERE FINE. THE PRICE WAS OKAY. THE QUALITY OF WORK WAS FINE. THE PUNCTUALITY WAS GOOD. THE THINGS WENT THROUGH ON TIME. THEY DIDN'T BREAK ANYTHING. THEY JUST DID A GOOD JOB.

THEY WERE VERY GOOD. THEY DID WHAT THEY SAID THEY WERE GOING TO DO. THEY DELIVERED ON TIME. THEY DIDN'T OVERCHARGE. THE PEOPLE WHO DID THE WORK WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL. THEY DID THEIR JOB WITH NO MUSS, NO FUSS, AND NO BOTHER.
