If you felt this way then why did you not say anything to me personally on the several times I met with you and your husband (Member name removed) . I actually worked and got you more money from the insurance company on items they missed in there report that you had no idea was not already paid for. As for your shed it is not connected to your home and wasn't part of contract between us . I'm a roofing contractor only, although I did get your insurance adjuster to pay for more siding than he originally paid for and offered help in getting a contractor to give you a bid for your siding replacement in which his bid was more than insurance paid ! My company done everything possible to keep your cost down, you called me yourself to tell me how happy you were with the gaco coating and how it saved you over $ 120 in your electric bill for the month... unfortunately my guys threw away the gaco buckets so I could not register your roof with gaco western , but I will honor their warranty myself and warranty your roof for as long as you own your home. We had mentioned to you that the state offered upto $500 rebates for cool roof systems not Gaco Western ! Just so it's clear to all reading this, you received a big discount on your roof because you were senior citizens and all I ever did was try and help you folks . By no means did anyone from my company take advantage of you or scam you in any way . It's unfortunate that you never discussed any of this stuff that you wrote in this complaint with me, as a matter of fact after you had already written this complaint you and your husband both called me to give you a coating price for your rental home ! I am willing to resolve your complaint by doing whatever I can to make you happy ! Please [Member Name Removed] remember one thing before you make a complaint on anyone , is that most companies work very hard to keep a good name for their business and when you have an issue with a contractor give that person an opportunity to resolve your issues before writing a complaint on them for the world to see ! "Myself and a project manager did get on the roof of [Member Name Removed]'s home, the roof had a steep pitch to it and was worn severely . I had on cougar paw boots that have special soles on them to help grip the shingles so that you can walk on them . [Member Name Removed]'s roof had very few granules left on the shingles due to age making in dangerous to walk on ! Safety , while on roofs is our number one concern . This particular roof was not safe at all to walk on, so we exited the roof . I spoke to [Member Name Removed] after we got off the roof and told her the situation with the roof , she had no issues at that time . [Member Name Removed] had other damage to her home at the back of house, the ceiling and columns had failed and fallen to the ground . I explained to [Member Name Removed] that she should call her insurance company and have them look at all of the damage on her property including the roof and I would be glad to meet adjuster at her property to help with the claim . [Member Name Removed] told me that she would call them and then call me with date and time to meet adjuster, I said ok and she seemed thankful for the help .I never did hear back from [Member Name Removed] ! As for the satellite image of roof measurements , I explained I would have them for adjuster when I met with him . This was no brief meeting, after I was on the roof trying to measure it for approximately 10 minutes I felt my safety was in [Member Information Removed] so I exited the roof . After I exited the roof I was told there was more damage in the back of house,[Member Name Removed] showed me the damage and I assessed the damage for approximately 10-15 minutes and then [Member Information Removed] she call her insurance and I explained to [Member Name Removed] what information the insurance company would need from her, she thanked me for the help and said she would be in touch soon ! I never did hear back from her and even tried contacting her a couple of times with no success . Total time at property was 30-45 minutes at no charge to the homeowner . In closing I would like to ask that this review be removed due to unfairness of review from homeowner that didn't explain the whole visit with her .We are a great company that has and will continue to provide great service to the Central Florida Communities !
