installed plumbing but it only lasted about a year before it had a major leak. They refused to send out contractor who installed plumbing and fix it. I had to get it repaired and pay again. They use any contractor and not necessarily good. Find your own contractor rated on here. Learned my lesson.

The job from start to finish took all morning and part of the afternoon. At the end of it all it worked perfectly. Brandon Skees did the

installation. He was on time and worked until it was up and running. A very professional, experienced, skilled technician could not have asked for anyone better. When he finished he took the time to explain the system and showed me how to program the pump. it was easier than I thought it would be.

By the time I paid for it with my credit card Pinch A Penny had a discount on for the hardware. It was offered to me plus a rebate on the Swimpure System. I got I think a perfect job and saved some money to boot. It does not get much better than that.

The salt units are replaced quickly but are expensive but within reason of other companies.
Monthly pool maintenance for the salt system is well maintained but they are not the best at cleaning the pool. They leave a lot on the top as they are usually here 10 mins or less.

The repairman dropped two large chunks of PVC pipe onto the pump system. First time I can see as an accident. The second? Other than that he did a great job. The pool school was very informative but lacked any practical participation because he did not have any gear to clean the pool and neither did I. He was a repairman and not a cleaner. So not his fault at all. I guess they sent him out to save themselves some man power and hoped I would have all my own equipment. The reason I was dissatisfied was because 165 bucks later I still had a dirty pool and he had only done about 30 minutes of actual work with about 15 bucks of materials. Their pool cleaning service is $90 for a month of cleaning. I should have just gotten that instead and watched the guy clean my pool. I could have saved $75 and had a clean pool. Of course, I would've had to cap the PVC and put in the screw myself. So there you have it.

The rep. was knowledgeable and told me how the pool motors and filters should have been installed versus the order that they were installed. He offered us options that would prolong the life of the new valve, including understanding we would have to replace it every two to three years or changing how we chlorinate our pool. He had the part on order and replaced it as soon as the part came in without needing us to be present. The company was thorough and responsive. He also gave us suggestions on some metallic staining on the pool and was concerned with economy, efficiency, and making our pool easy to care for but clean.

IT WAS GOOD SERVICE. THE PEOPLE WERE FRIENDLY, AND THEY DID EXACTLY WHAT THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO DO. IT'S REASONABLE. WE HAVE USED THEM QUITE A BIT TO OPEN AND CLOSE OUR POOL EVERY YEAR.

OVERALL THEY ARE GOOD. SOMETIMES IT IS NOT COMPLETELY WELL DONE. AFTER A CLEANING WE'LL STILL HAVE A LOT OF LEAVES STILL DOWN IN THE POOL THAT THEY PROBABLY COULD'VE GOTTEN. IT WAS THINGS LIKE THAT THAT THEY COULD HAVE POSSIBLY CLEANED OUT OF THE POOL THAT THEY DIDN'T. THEY WERE NOT AS THOROUGH AS I WOULD HAVE LIKED THEM TO BE.

PINCH A PENNY HAS BEEN VERY PROFESSIONAL AND RESPONSIVE. I AM VERY SATISFIED. THE COST IS A LITTLE MORE THAN IF I DID IT MYSELF. I DON'T KNOW HOW COMPETITIVE THEY ARE, BUT I PRESUME THEY ARE COMPETITIVE. WHEN I CALL THEM, THEY REMEMBER ME. THEY RESPOND IMMEDIATELY. THE OWNER REMEMBERS MY NAME EVEN IF HE HASN'T SEEN ME IN A YEAR.

THEY SHOW UP ON TIME, THEIR ESTIMATES ARE ACCURATE, AND THEY BRING ALL THEIR MATERIALS WITH THEM SO THEY CAN FINISH THE JOB WHEN THEY GET HERE. THEY'RE VERY PLEASANT. THEY CALL IF THEY'RE GOING TO BE A LITTLE LATE. THEY DO A GREAT JOB.

WE WOULD HIRE THEM AGAIN. THE OVERALL EXPERIENCE WAS GOOD. I HAVE NO COMPLAINTS. THEY DID WHAT THEY SAID THEY WERE GOING TO DO. THE CLEANLINESS OF THE JOB WAS GOOD. ANYTIME THEY PUT A HOLE IN YOUR YARD, IT WAS FILLED IN.

They did very good work. The motor was fixed quickly and we had no problems with it later. The mosaic tile that was reinstalled had been troublesome since the pool was built several years earlier. We had the original installers return many times to fix the problem and they never seemed able to. The man from Pinch A Penny reinstalled the mosaic tiles and we have not had a problem with them since.
