Roof leaked at the wall scuppers for months. Pat Lynch would come out at unscheduled times and work for a bit putting Band-Aids on the roof. Roof leaked again, I called out another roofing company to evaluate. The new roofing company noted several areas of concern that needed to be corrected. We had a meeting with Pat Lynch & our general contractor to discuss the repair and having the other roof company consult and oversee the repair. Later that day (3/6) I received a message that the other roofing company looked at pictures agreed with the repair but could not oversee the work and the roofers could start on the repair the next day. I called the other roofing company to confirm what I was told and was informed that they never looked at pictures and told Pat Lynch they didn't want to get involved nor would they give any advice. They flat lied and I have it all in writing. Given that these guys weren't willing to fix the roof correctly and that they obviously cannot be trusted, I called out an independent roofing consultant to evaluate the roof systems. The inspector noted several serious violations of manufacturer installation guidelines and many instances of poor quality workmanship. Having to involve the inspector though the repair process to see if they can do it correctly. DO NOT HIRE THESE GUYS.....for anything they cannot be trusted and are extremely unprofessional. Everything I've written can be backed up with documentation.
Description of Work: Installed a new flat roof system over an addition to our home and reroofed the existing part of the house. Pat Lynch was contracted through our general contractor Feely Developments, LLC

Mr. [Member Name Removed], Ran across your complaint. The real Facts are I got a final inspection on the roof from the City. You called me out for a leak in the garage from your planter, verified by another roofer you called, since you rejected my opinion. You called out a roofing consultant and he gave his opinion. I found later he said i did the wall flashing and scuppers wrong. Your general contractor hired a couple of my guys to redo the flashing ( not according to manufactures specifications) and re-design the scuppers to accommodate a gutter system you now added, ( the real reason you changed the scuppers) The roofing consultant, who I know, then directed my guys on how to install everything to his satisfaction. The work was not permitted nor is the General Contractor, who paid my guys), properly licensed to do these repairs. You claimed the roof leaked throughout the installation is not entirely true. It was fine until the city failed the inspection. YOUR architect failed to include the proper drainage ( scuppers) and YOUR general contractor had to cut holes in the roof after the fact. All you did was void a good warranty. But its your house and you can do what ever you want to. I do zero advertising. ALL my business is word of mouth since 1981. So you can run an ad in all the newspapers. it won't affect me.
