It was a pleasure to deal with this company from start to finish. The people of this company worked with me to coordinate the sod installation after we had a pool installed. Everyone we communicated with or met with was professional, helpful, and courteous. The installers did a great job placing and trimming the sod to fit our landscaping. After installation we had a problem with some sod that did not do as well as expected. This company listened to my concerns and without asking replaced the sod in question. The service both during and after the installation was A+. I will hire Orlando outdoors for any future sod or landscaping needs and recommend them to anyone in need of their services.

Horrible experience. Job started out fine, owner (husband) seemed genuine and responsive, but that was at the beginning. Owner didn't communicate job properly to workers who none spoke any English. My major concern was to have the lawn be flat (not bumpy) at completion. I was charged an extra $275 for them to use a screen rake (like they use at professional ball parks to groom the dirt in the infield) over the dirt to level prior to sodding. The workers laid the entire front yard only to remove it all again in order to prepare the dirt properly. Then the workers show up with a section of a chain link fence tied to a riding mower and pulled it across the dirt creating ruts and a huge mess. I wish I would have videoed it as it was comical. Eventually a supervisor showed up and put a stop to that and they hand raked the dirt which was did not achieve the desired result. They laid sod and had to bring in a hand roller to go over the entire yard in an effort to flatten the wavy and bumpy sod. The equipment they used to move the pallets of sod was squirting hydraulic fluid all over my paver driveway and causing stains all up and down. They did try removing them with a pressure washer with mixed results. Also, the equipment was so heavy, it damaged my walkways which they drove over and now have ruts and are slanted. They laid sod over many sprinkler heads (all of which were marked with flags at the start of job) which I had to dig out myself or risk damage to the newly laid sod. All this followed by discovering a few days later that the new sod was infested with an invasive weed that could not be treated so they ended up pulling up approximately 1/3 of the sod and threw it away. Then it was a 3 week wait for replacement sod which was delivered with a host of different weeds, but the lawn fertilization service that they recommended insured me that they could treat these weeds and get rid of them - NOT! It's been over 6 months and they're spreading all over! The replacement sod was like little mogul hills on a ski slope and I called them back to run roller over the replacement sod and the owner (wife) said they already did twice. I assured her that it was absolutely not done and requested the owner (husband) to come out to look at it as it was very obvious and he could see for himself. I called weekly for about six weeks and talked to several people at the business pleading for the owner to have the courtesy to at the very least least call me back, but they never did. This has been an absolute nightmare! I am now getting quotes to rip the wavy weed infested sod out and have it replaced once again. I can only hope that Orlando Outdoors goes out of business before causing others the ongoing hardship and expense that I had to endure.

I needed sod replaced in the back yard as well as mulch. Their prices for both were very reasonable and they delivered and installed the mulch. Had to cut out a small area of existing bad sod which was $65 extra, but worth it for me to skip the hassle of doing it myself. They did a great job although they forgot to deliver the mulch on their first trip, which turned out to work in my favor as I needed more sod and it avoided the additional delivery fee for them to come back.
There was one small glitch, which they solved for us very professionally. I asked to have the 65 bags of mulch delivered and stored in the back yard. Somehow this was not communicated to the delivery folks who left all 65 bags at our front door area which we discovered 3 hours before a party was to occur at our home! They came back and moved all of the mulch to the back yard for us, which was so helpful and kind.
Unlike the prior review here, they were very responsive, friendly on the phone and provided me with constant status updates. I would use them again!

Orlando Outdoor landscaping may well be one of the single
worst companies I have ever done business with.
Extremely poor follow-up and communication, bad sod, terrible
installation, horrible customer service attitude, etc.
It wasn?t until I threatened them legally that they reluctantly
tried to make some repairs to their shotty workmanship and product. My advice
is to stay as far away from this company as you possibly can.
