MERCURY PLUMBING

This is the second time I used Mercury Plumbing. This time I brought the Angie's List special $100 for $120 of plumbing services to replace two bathroom faucets. Again, they were professional, right on time and did the job right. I will continue to call them for my future plumbing needs.

Called approx. 10am after my regular plumber arrived and wanted almost $300.00 to run snake the line. I check Angie's list and found Mercury. The call was answered right away and the receptionist was very polite and said someone could be out in just a short time. I think it was under two hours when he arrived and after 60feet of snake to reach the clog, he cleared it. Great service, great price (almost a third of Michael's Plumbing price. I will only use Mercury for future plumbing needs.

They came the very same day I purchased the work from Angie's List. Work was done promptly and correctly. No more leaking toilet! Cost includes parts that were needed. Both the receptionist and plumber were friendly.

I decided to use this service since I have had problems with my kitchen sink pipe before. It has been fixed by a handyman but would leak again shortly thereafter. I just wanted it fixed once and for all with a guarantee. The plumber was very professional, listened to my concerns and went straight to work. I will definitely use them again if needed.

I called MERCURY PLUMBING on Thursday, scheduled the work next morning. Reggie came in the morning ahead of time, he is very friendly and he quickly replaced the new faucet , checked dishwasher clog problem and fix it, he also checked all the bathroom faucets, replaced a new flapper of a toilet.The staff from MERCURY PLUMBING that I talked with on the phone were professional and followed up. I would use Mercury again for plumbing jobs.

It was fast and neat installation. I discovered one of the lines leaking the next day but the technician came back and tightened it even though he didn't work on that line. Would use again.

Called Mercury on Tuesday, July 28, 2015, to inquire about installing new faucets in my bathroom I had purchased. They scheduled me for Thursday, July 30, 2015. The staff that I interacted with on the phone were professional and followed up with calls to keep me informed of the time the plumber would arrive. He came on time, went to work immediately and did a great joy installing my new faucets. The plumber was friendly and worked very quickly and cleaned up after he finished. I would use Mercury again for plumbing jobs. They gave me a 10% discount for being a member of Angie's List.

Called on a Saturday, plumber called me back and we discussed the plumbing problem I was having. I was told the office would call me back on Monday. No call and today is Wednesday.

I did have to pay extra for another 30 minutes.

Sink was backing up on both sides. They cleared the drain through the sink and went on the roof and routed out from there. Very thorough. I have used them for several years for various things, mostly clogs or leaks. They are always timely and professional. The service was so good I felt compelled to call the company and tell the Manager how much I appreciated the service personnel and the service that was provided. I have recommended them to several friends.

Sean was top notch. Contractor had installed new sink but walked away when drain hook-up became difficult. Sean had to squeeze under cabinet to connect drain and garbage disposal and did so with everything working perfectly. I would recommend Mercury Plumbing.

The toilet needed leveled anyhow and it hadn't been flushing consistently, properly. So he first removed the toilet to find that there was in fact an obstruction in the bottom of it. He removed it and put it back, properly leveled. He then attempted to flush it and found the fill valve which I had installed myself some months earlier kept locking up and not letting in enough water. So he replaced it with a new one. He then re-flushed it, but it still flushes slow. He explained that it is probably old and needs to be replaced. So it still flushes slow, but at least it flushes. I like these people and will definitely have them back out when I get ready to replace it. Not too high right now on the priority list, but these are the people who I will have install the next. I have used Mercury Plumbing's services many times over the years. I've had to use them a few times over the past month. 1) I had a bathroom remodel done by a big box company. My sink was leaking. They sent out a plumber who told me it was "condensation." This didn't seem right to me as I've lived in the same house for many years and this has never happened. Instead of going round and round with the company plumber, I called Mercury. They came out immediately and assessed the situation and told me that the other plumber didn't seal the drain. Something every plumber should know to do. 2) Last week I had an issue with my septic tank. The first people I called was Mercury for advice. They told me that instead of them coming out to look at it and pay a fee, I should call a septic company. They even suggested a couple of companies. I appreciated their honesty as they could have easily come out, snaked the shower drain and charged me a lot of money to eventually say I needed a septic company, but the didn't. They were honest and above board. 3) Today, Sunday, they are out fixing a leak in an old pipe outside. I know I'll have to pay more for today's services (because it's Sunday). I don't care. I know they're going to do the job correctly. Use them. You won't be disappointed. I cannot recommend them enough.

Smug and rude. Argued with me over a bill we never received by email. Than she laughed at me when I told her I wont use them again. However they previously did a few other jobs totaling $4000 and were paid in full in a timely matter.

I hired another company to install two toilets. When they were unable to figure out how to do it, I called Mercury and told them that these toilets were Kohler with smooth sides, requiring brackets inside rather than outside the base of the toilet. Mercury knew what I had purchased and sent two folks to come out and do the work. Sent them out within 2 hours!

They were great. They came the same day and they were quick and professional. There was an issue with one of the things they did. They came back the next day with no charge. I would recommend them.

I had purchased 2 hours of plumbing as an Angies list great deal from another plumber. The plumber came out (was an hour late) and said that my leaking shower was due to an obsolete valve, and that he wasn't sure he could fix it, but instead recommended a new valve. The cheapest valve with only a 60 day guarantee was $930. I thanked him for his time, and called Mercury Plumbing, as they had done previous work for me, and I had been very pleased with the results. Bottom line: Shane came out at the time scheduled, got right to work, and had the valve fixed in a little over an hour. He told me that he had several partial cartridge kits in his truck from previous repairs, and was able to use those parts to replace the faulty cartridge in my shower. Shane also replaced a section of pipe in the wall with a slow leak that I did not know about. After all was done, Shane handed me a bill for $162.10!! I am so pleased, and don't even begrudge the $99 I spent on the other company, because it just reinforced the knowledge that I really don't need another plumber.

I looked them up on Angie's List and they had a good rating. They came when they said and I didn't have to wait a long time. My husband took them for a walk around our house to try to find out where the leak was and they were able to find it with no problems. I asked them a lot of questions about plumbing in general because we have copper pipes and we talked briefly about the damages of replacing the copper piping. I liked them and I thought they were very professional.

I've used Mercury plumbing for larger jobs at my house regarding broken water main due to tree roots. They were great for this too, but had them come in a non emergency situation. The old shower faucet had gone bad as the cylinder in the single knob faucet was not sealing properly so the shower head was dripping. I had tried to replace myself, but could get the cylinder out but had the replacement part. Mercury came out on time, worked on the shower, used my part to save me some money and charged me a very reasonable price of $90. I have since recommended them to friends and co-workers. Honest, professional and reliable.

Mercury arrived 5 minutes early and finished in less than one hour. Very nice and professional. Left work area clean and leak-free.

They sent three plumbers before they found the leak but were not sure where the leak was coming from. They dropped their tools in the bath tub which scratched the tub. While trying to find the leak they removed tile in the tub and they offered to cover the holes in the tile with a plate but did not charge me for the plate but you could still see the holes. I felt like it was a fishing expedition.

I had several other companies out here to look at this and no one could fix it right. They came out right on time and had it fixed in an hour. I have not had the first problem with it since. They did a great job.

Not only did Mercury plumbing come out quickly, to fix a leak in the old copper plumbing, but when I asked that they do a whole-house repipe, they managed to do the job within days.

Terry was a great guy. He was very courteous, fast, and thorough. I would highly recommend them.
