I have a service contract with them for termite control and I pay for the pest control every month. We started with them before my husband passed eighteen years ago, so it's been nineteen or twenty years we've been dealing with Massey Services. They come regularly every month. For the pests I pay $32 a month, and for the lawn pest control it's $85, and once a year the aeration is $56. It's an annual charge of $303 for the year. The lawn pests is every other month for the weeds and pests and stuff in the lawn. Mowing and edging, they don't do anything like that; just spraying for weeds and pests and stuff. They come, they spray and whatever. Sometimes it's granular, sometimes it's a liquid that they spray with. I pay the bill and they leave. I guess he did a good job; I don't follow him around to see what they're doing all the time. I do like to be here when they do come, so I don't do the annual that way. They can come and go as they please, and I'd rather be here and get a monthly bill if you know what I"m saying, so that you know that they've been and done something. They generally call when he's coming, so that I have the dogs in the house. There was one time that the fella said he was gonna be here at 10:00 and I figured well I've got time to get the dogs out for the first thing in the morning and back in by 9:30. He showed up and started walking half way across the back yard, and one of the dogs said uh-uh, there's an intruder here and I'm gonna get him. And he did; he got him on the leg. The guy didn't say anything until he was half way across the yard, and he was a half an hour early, so his fault basically, especially when he was carrying one of those wands and stuff too. The dog thought he was dangerous. He's the youngest one at 7-1/2 years old and hes a Terri-Poo and he's more Terrier than he is Poodle. He decided he was gonna protect the property; he was doing his job. I did report that to Massey, that he had come earlier than planned and didn't say anything until he was half way across the back yard and the dogs were out there. He even said he heard the dogs in the yard, so he knew I was around. But you don't say anything till you're half way across the yard? For responsiveness, most of them are pretty good. They know now that they're supposed to call and they're supposed to not come earlier than was planned, especially in the morning, because the dogs have to be out there. The other three dogs, they're almost blind and mostly hard of hearing. The 7 year old, he can see and hear too much sometimes. I've got my hands full with these dogs with their physical conditions and everything. Like the 18 year old with the weak kidneys and pancreatitis like one of the 15 year olds, and those two have those and the older one, the 18 year old, also has cancer in her shoulder, and the vet's surprised that she's still kicking. He keeps saying she's tough, she's tough. They're been pretty good about being punctual. They may be 15 minutes here or there, but it's not a big deal.
