Did a good job and took about 2 hours. Good quality opener installed. Not cheap but not crazy high either. No problems since installation.

I hired them to replace a broken spring on our garage door. I decided to replace both springs at the same time. The door was working fine before the spring broke. The installer replaced both springs. The door would not function properly after that. He blamed it on the old motor. He said he could replace it at an additional cost. I informed him that it was working fine before he installed the spring. I felt this was a classic up sell. I did not feel comfortable with him working on the door anymore. I paid him $200 for the 2 springs and he left. I left a message with the company and did not get a return call. I made an adjustment to the motor strength and it is working fine again.

They passed the job on to another company without my knowledge. Mistakes were made during installation requiring the installer come back and fix the mistakes. On the end, all is well.

Garage door wouldn't open when I touched the button and couldn't figure out why. After doing a visual inspection I figured out that the spring had broke in two. I immediately went to angieslist to look for a garage door company and found Local Garage Door. They had a coupon for preventative maintenance that included a spring replacement for $179.00 and I immediately called them. To my surprise the could come out the same day between 1pm and 3pm, the technician was here at 1pm. It took the tech about an hour and he was done, the grage door never sounded so good. It used to be noisy and have metal against metal noises, now you can just hear the garage door motor running. The tech was very friendly and seemed very knowledgeable about what needed to be performed.
In regards to price, yes the coupon was for $179 and I did pay $300 but that was because I needed to change out both springs and one spring cost $125 and the coupon is only good for one spring.

Everything was great, we placed the order on Thursday afternoon and they were onsite by 10 AM Friday morning. We are very happy with the service! They also helped us with our 2nd garage door that has not worked since we moved into the house a month ago, turns out it was painted shut, they also made a couple of adjustments to the extra door with no additional charges.
