The problem was resolved quickly by KIWI but another problem was found with the camera's board which would have been too expensive to replace. Because of this further fault KIWI did not charge for their service.

Very well, I was very happy to hear someone say it cannot be repaired, and suggested I buy another more updated version. He did not try to sell me one. He said the camcorder would be too expensive for me to repair, it is 8 yrs old.

He is very knowledgeable, professional and he had prompt turn-around on the repair. I was very satisfied with the repair. He is the one person I would take my photo equipment to in the Southeast.
