I've had them for 2 years. It went very well as usual. They did an excellent job. I highly recommend them.

I was going to use them again and again, but in getting to know them a bit better there is a bit of attitude in their voice. I asked them to come Tuesday for an urgent issue, and they did not show up. Then they called me and said they tried to call me. They indicated that because I didn't answer the phone they decided not to come. No apology. Then on Saturday they said they would be here at 5 or 6. Instead, without any warning via text message or phone call, they show up at 4pm. I called them when I got home at 420pm and they seemed irritated that I wasn't there even though both my wife and I were witnesses that they said 5 or 6 not 4pm. I basically fired them after that. 

I think these guys are good at what they do and perhaps success has gone to their head a bit. I won't be using them again in the future.

The two men were very professional and jobs were done well.

Showed up with assistant and the job was performed as expected. The dry wall looked well and he changed the shower head. My issue was a follow up call on a new job where he repeatedly was a no show no call.

Kenny and his partner from KES performed some miscellaneous
repairs on my house.  The first time he came, he forgot the stain for the
interior doors and his partner left the interior doors with very sharp edges
after sanding them.  It was a warning sign, but since he seemed to have
some good repair ideas and offered a 1 year warranty on his work, I saw no
cause for alarm. He came back to repair those items, and to finish installing a
small area of tile along the edge of the living room which had a drop down to
an adjacent room. However, the tile grout cracked and he came back again to
repair it.  Right afterwards, the bead of grout on the edge began
crumbling and I sent pictures to him right away.  However, he emailed me
that this was not a warranty item and advised me to coat the surface with a
bonding agent.  I contacted a professional tile installer from Angie's
List who said that the bead of grout should not disintegrate as it was
doing.  I left a message and emailed Kenny with additional pictures and
asked for a partial refund so I could hire a professional tile company to fix
the bead correctly (by this time I realized that Kenny was over his head on
this tile repair and that I needed a professional to fix it.) However, I did
not receive any response from him about the refund or any offer to try to fix
the problem. I also contacted Kenny with pictures about the caulking job he had
done on the small holes in the white plastic strips on my pool deck, because they
were WORSE than before!  He had not taped
the surrounding areas when he caulked and as a result there is a sticky film
residue on the white strips and even on the adjacent cement pool deck, which is
a different color! KES did not honor their warranty and refused to accept my
generous offer to give him a good rating on Angie?s List for the work he had
done right if he would be just give me a partial refund so I could have a
professional complete the tile and pool strips by a professional who
specializes in those kinds of repairs.

Ken and his partner did an excellent job! They communicated well, kept their promises and cleaned up very well at the end of each day

  We needed help getting our house ready to sell and didn't have the time nor the knowledge to do all the repairs needed done to get our house ready for the market. Kenny was Johnny on the spot. He was timely in giving us an estimate and coming in to do the work. His prices were extremely fair and very reasonable. no hidden anything! He and his assistant worked very efficiently. We gave him a hundred odd jobs to do and he was quite capable of going them all. a jack of all trades. We were in a real pinch and he came through for us. We had no choice but to leave a house key for him to access the house alone. He was completely trustworthy. I would use Kenny again in a minute. We have nothing but good things to say about him. He gave us very ethical advice about what we should do as far as repairs went for resale.

Excellent response time & quality of work.  Although the contractor was already busy, he managed to squeeze in my project so it would be completed before Father's Day.

They did a great job and were able to schedule us according to our schedule. It was done in a timely manner. We had had a flood and they did some repairing of baseboards, amongst other things.

We were very happy with the work we had done. Kenny was very professional and answered all calls I made to him. We will definitely be using him again. And I recommend him to everyone I know.

I could not have ask for better service We called around  to different people and K.E.S was the first one to return our phone call .The estimation that he gave us was fair and reasonable for a Shower remodel. The work was preformed in A day which was a Bonus in My Book as I only have the one Shower working. Kenny and his Assistant were very detailed oriented when It came to placing the tile and making sure that there was no mess left behind. I will use this company again as I am remodeling my house with putting down new flooring in the whole house and having the whole master bedroom re-done along with bed.

I have used this firm 3 times and have been very satisfied with them.

This is the second time I have used this company. They remodeled my guest bath and also installed wood floors through out house. They were clean, fast and informative. I will use again.

The Kenny and his helper Justin arrived on time and worked all day completing the plaster work and allowed it to dry over night. They returned on time the next day and completed painting the entire 2 ceilings. The match was very good to the original knockdown. The cleaned the work areas and replaced the furniture. We they left the ceilings looked like new. Great and speedy work!

We used Kenny for a previous job and hired him again when it was time to renovate a vacant rental house.  He and his assistant did a fine job.  The house was vacant; therefore we left a key in a lock-box for their convenience.  We met up with Kenny every weekend to inspect the work completed during the week.  He was always upfront with his estimates and often time made suggestions which we found very helpful.  He's reliable, honest, dependable and we would use him again.

We bought the tile on our own and they just installed it. It was fantastic. They did a great job. They were very punctual. They gave us an estimate, where the other guy that came out never got around giving us an estimate. Ken was very professional and he had wonderful help. He is very down to earth and willing to work with us. They cleaned up their messes.

That turned out really well. They were great. Their timeliness were really good, no problem with that. They were right on time. Their price was reasonable. I had quotes from other people and they were a lot more money.

Kenny was professional -- arrived when he said he would, honest about what he can and cannot do, performed the work order to our expectations.  Very pleased with his services -- we are continuing to use him for our other rental properties.   

They showed up on time and were good about scheduling.  So it got started off good.  We hired them to do basic handymen work and they confirmed prior to our purchase that they could do what we were requesting.  We purchased 6 hours of labor.  I was expecting one person to show up, but we got two for 3 hours.  Should technically add up, however I don't think it does.  Nevertheless, the owner was outside a lot, on the phone, cigarettes, etc...which bothered me.  Also, in my humble opinion, they milked the clock.  Then when it was 15 minutes prior to finishing up, they stopped because thats how they budget for their clean up.  Needless to say a bedroom that needed about 15 more minutes of painting done, didn't get done.  So I had to do it myself.  When i requested them to finish, there were going to charge me an hour to finish it.  So that was annoying.  Also, one of the ceiling fans that was hung is not sturdy and we can't even turn it up to full speed.  We fear it will fall and it makes an annoying noise because it isn't secured to the ceiling properly.

Kenny is a complete professional in all aspects. He and his assistant worked long hours to complete our project in less time than he estimated. We are thrilled with the results and highly recommend him.

It was excellent. They showed up when they were suppose to and took care of business. They did what I asked them to do. They were nice and friendly. They were very responsive, you could get in touch with them easily.

I contacted Kenny by phone and told him we were budget conscience so we did not want a remodel, we wanted a repair(he can do both). Kenny came for an estimate(on time). He evaluated the site. He wrote up a proposal/estimate (on the spot) detailing the work to be completed. We scheduled a time for him to come 10 days out. He said he would call the day before to confirm our appt(he did). He arrived as scheduled. He performed the work from 9am-1pm.
Kenny is thorough, trustworthy, and 'to the point'.
Well worth the money spent for peace of mind that the job is completed and done well. I'm grateful for Kenny's work and Angie's list to find KES Construction.
