The provider hired a con man to do the work, never corrected it himself, and let client accumulate a $39,000 fine that she had to pay in cash to city. I requested from him for years to do the work. He was always busy.

It started a little slow, but we eventually got something we thought would be nice. I was a little disappointed however that there was no reasoning about cost and limits on expected budget so the design naturally exceeded our budget by a large margin.
I also felt like we were just working with the designer and not the company's resources at large.
When it came time to start getting estimates we were given a few referrals from JWB that either didn't return our calls or came out and were never heard from again. Maybe no one wanted the project, but it still seems unprofessional.
We decided not to go forward with the project so we didn't pay for the next step of the service. Even though it clearly states in the contract that if we decide not to go forward with the rest of the services we don't need to pay, yet we still were asked to pay a few times before I had to make it clear that it wasn't the agreement.
This is my first experience doing this, so maybe it's just a frustrating process. JWB technically did what they said they were going to do, I just wasn't as impressed as I hoped I would be.

They worked with our schedules to provide an 8:30 Saturday meeting time.  We waited Saturday morning until after 9:30 and after no call or no show we called the provider.  The provider acknowledged he had an 8:30 meeting but informed us he "lost" our information.  A wasted Saturday morning waiting for us.  After giving him more details he seemed to have forgot our conversation from 2 days prior; he wasn't even sure which county we were in.  A very bad first impression so we did not reschedule another meeting.

The job went perfect! They delivered on all parts of there service. Showed up when they said they would, gave us a quote very fast and walked me through all the steps to complete my job and close out my permit!
I definitely recommend them!

I used JWB Architects deliverables to put the project out for bids from contractors. Unfortunately, the economy tanked and I ended up postponing construction, but I still have the plans and the property. If I decide to build, I will go back to JWB for a review of the plans to ensure that they are up to date, but I have every confidence in the company's ability to do the work.
