General Remodeling
DEMOLITION WENT QUICKLY. RECONSTRUCTION TOOK LONGER THAN EXPECTED AND WAS STRESSFUL. WORKERS DIDN'T SHOW UP WHEN PROMISED. SOME WORKED FOR JUST AN HOUR OR SO AND LEFT. SOME WERE NOT QUALIFIED TO DO THE WORK THEY WERE ASSIGNED. WE PAID AS WORK WAS COMPLETED, BUT STILL OWE APPROXIMATELY $550. MOST WORK WAS COMPLETED IN AUGUST. WE HELD FINAL PAYMENT, WAITING FOR SOME WALL REPAIRS, PAINTING TOUCH UP AND RECEIPT OF A LIEN RELEASE. AFTER 4 MONTHS, I DID THE PAINTING MYSELF. WE HAVE TRIED 4 TIMES TO GET SOMEONE OUT TO FIX WALLS, PROVIDE LIEN RELEASE AND TAKE CARE OF SOME WARRANTEE WORK. NO ONE HAS COME. ALTHOUGH THEY SAY THEY HAVE A LIEN RELEASE, ONE OF THE CONTRACTORS HAS NOT BEEN PAID. WE HAVE MAJOR COMMUNICATION PROBLEMS.

"We completed work in a timely manner for scope of work requested. Scope changed 3 weeks into the job. We where requested to demo before materials available for work involved. She was told this is not normal. We do not demo until approximately one week before materials needed being shipped. They played games because they didn't have the money available, I finally got the truth out of them. The job looked wonderful. Joy Vannice-president"
