JON'S DRY CLEANER & LAUNDRY

Absolutely THE WORST. I've had two incidents with this dry cleaner and today will be the last. Jon has on two occasions taken in my dry cleaning promised it would be back in time for my business trip and boom! NOTHING TO BE FOUND! This is the third time its happened. I won't be going back. I spent over an hour at the store looking through the racks and my stuff was no where to be found. Now I have to go spend $1800 on a suit I don't need to go on a business trip at 7am tomorrow. Jon will not answer phone calls or texts (his employee gave me his personal cell phone number). He didn't even have the items I personally handed to him this last Saturday in his computer system. I have been in the store on other occasions when other people have come in and their items were not there. Avoid this place!

I searched out Jon's after a horrible experince with another dry cleaner in 2009 and was very happy with service until recently (this summer). Jon was always very hands-on and accessible, until recently and I'm not sure why. I brought in a valuable (Frette) damask coverlet for dry cleaning this summer - Jon had cleaned it before and took great care with it. It was not ready on the pick up date, nor for a month after the pick up date. My inquiries went unanswered by staff - I was told Jon was behind - and because Jon was not available when I went to the store, I asked staff to have Jon call me. He never did. I went in one day to pick up my clothes and there was my coverlet, on the floor in a heap with other bedspreads. I should have taken it and ran! Instead I left it to be cleaned. When I got it home it was clear that it had been laundered instead of dry cleaned - I lost 6 inches in width.

I hope Jon is okay - he is a very nice and caring business owner. Something is amiss...

He is excellent and is really really good. I think his charges are a little bit less than others, so they are competitive and very reasonable. He is personable and follows through. I dropped something outside of his store and didn't know it and he called me a few hours later to see it if was mine. I thought that was great.

I was satisfied with them. My experience was good. We needed our clothes right away and they were able to help us. They had them clean on time and they were easy to communicate with. Everyone was friendly and professional. They will be my dry cleaner going forward.

It went well. We are always pleased with the work Jon's does.

Bedspreads and feather beds always cleaned without any chemical smell. Well wrapped in light plastic for storage.

I use them regularly. My clothes are always ready when promised and in perfect condition. Very friendly staff.
