Jim's Plumbing & Irrigation has been serving the Central Florida area since 1987. They are a family owned and operated organization and are licensed and insured. JPI offers all their customers peace of mind satisfaction as they run a complete background check on all their employees to insure the safety and well being of their customers. JPI provides emergency 24 hour service. While most of the services provided are by our own in-house experts, we do use outside contractors to provide commercial concrete cutting, drywall repair, as well as, backhoe services. JPI holds their subcontractors to the same high standards that we strive to provide to our customers. JPI is a full service plumbing contractor. We also provide Drain Cleaning Services, Sewer Video Inspection Services, Sewer Line Repair and/or Replacement Services, Irrigation Services, and Backflow Testing and Repair and/or Replacemnt.

Last Friday I needed sewer line cleaned out at my older home. Tim from Jim's Plumbing was able to find sewer clean-out line that I didn't know (and another plumber) existed. It was buried 2+ feet in the ground. And then, over the weekend washer bibs started leaking and I had to rely on Jim's again. This morning, Rodney arrived and took care of the problem in a very timely fashion. Both plumbers were very experienced and professional. As a single woman, I truly appreciate the honesty and integrity of this company and its employees. Highly recommended.

I called Jim's Plumbing to fix and issue with tree roots compromising the drainage line from the house to the sewer. They came out and found the issue and gave me a quote based on the work that needed to be completed. In the middle of the job they found out that it was over-scoped the time for the repair and adjusted it down saving me money on the repair. I couldn't be happier with the staff there: Darren (Estimator), Gram (troubleshooter), Javier and Gil(did the replacement), and Will (sink repair that was added on). This company was very honest and I love supporting local business with this level of professionalism.

I live in a condo building and the main water line to my water heater was leaking and needed to be replaced. My building had already called Jim's Plumbing so I had them perform the job since I was pressed for time with work and didn't have time to get other bids. I also didn't want to risk the possibility of the leak getting worse, so I went with them. Long story short, the guy tried to charge me $1400 for a job that took them less than 2 hours to perform. He basically replaced two pipes. On top of that, he had the audacity to try and charge me for a 3rd hour (over 100 dollars) while he wrote up the bill, stating that his time was still being spent at the job. When I complained about this, the bill magically dropped to somewhere around $750. So what does that tell you? He tried to charge me twice the amount the job was worth and still probably overcharged me. Speaks volumes to the kind of character that person has. On the other side of things, the office staff is incredibly helpful and honest. They helped settle this dispute in a reasonable manner but ultimately I'll never hire this company again because of my experience.

Awesome - I was notified when Dave was on his way and he arrived when promised. Dave was quick, effiicient and very friendly and professional. I have used Jim's Plumbing before and was very happy with the service again - the price was fair and as expected from previous service. Dave was neat and cleaned up the work area when he was done; he was pleasant and polite and resolved my plumbing issue to my satisfaction - high recommendations!

It turned into a difficult repair and he stayed with it until it was done in a satisfactory way and he was willing to come out on a Saturday afternoon which is not a real convenient time. They were very accommodating and helpful. I have used him on two other occasions for irrigation repair and they've been consistently helpful and effective.

"I am so sorry for your experience [member name removed], but I don't have your name or address in my system. I am just not sure of what you are describing regarding punching a hole in the wall from fixing a p-trap. That would be significantly difficult to do since it is just a connection to the stub out already located in the wall, This means that there would already be a hole in the wall so that the piping could be connected. The p-trap is a very simplistic repair that I have done myself many times at home, and I am not a plumber but the Business Manager should say something. Are you sure that you were not just missing an escutcheon plate? I wish that I had seen this review when you initially posted it but unfortunately I did not. That being said, if you had called us you would have been directed to my attention as handling customers that have questions or concerns regarding their service is just one part of my responsibilities. That I have been in my position for 21 years I don't think anyone would have been unsure of how to direct your call. That being said, I do have another customer with the same last name listed in our system but he is at a different location and has a different first name. Jim's was referred by a friend who uses them for their own home and their rental property. We had Jim's Plumbing out 3 times for a leaking tub faucet, each time they sent David. He was professional and knowledgable, also extremely personable. His first time out he fixed the tub but after a few days it started leaking again, he came right back out and fixed it again. Its an ongoing issue so we had to call them again, he figured out where the problem was coming from and put a final fix to it.

I scheduled service out of the yellow pages, they were available the next day. Pat has 15 years experience and it showed. My water softening unit wasn't getting water to it, I needed to use my bypass just to get water to the rest of the house. Pat diagnosed a faulty gate valve stopping the water flow, cut and repiped in about 15 minutes! I had 2 other sections where I also needed repiping and new valves. Since I have to pay for the full hour, I ran around the house having him fix 2 other things in the bathrooms that had been bothering me for months! I got my money's worth. Thanks Guys!

This company helped us out of a problem we were having with trying to complete a job on our own, without having the experience needed to complete such a job. For all the work that was done and the time involved, the amount of money paid was well worth it.
