IKEA

I always love IKEA. We like this store. There are enough people around so that if you need help, you can get help. But it's not like they're hovering. They're a good blend of being friendly and professional. Their cafeteria is excellent. We subscribe to their Family Club Benefits, and there are significant benefits in doing that. We always find the experience there relaxing. They handle their traffic management uniquely. The parking lot is usually mobbed, but you don't feel like you're being mobbed when you're in the store. It's a fun experience. We furnished our whole house from them. There's a path that leads you through the two story store. They have entire rooms set up, so you can see what the furniture would look like in a real situation.

The place can seem overwhelming if you have not clearly determined what you want to purchase.

I wouldn't use them again. They actually contract through an outside company and the cabinets I had to let go almost immediately because, they made an estimate, and then when they got here the estimate was half again as much, so I said no deal on that. I didn't let them do the work. They were rude. They got an attitude with me after all, and even IKEA did. It was a bad experience. They were very quick to try to come out and screw me over.

They were basically as advertised. It is a one stop shop solution which makes things easier to work out.

Wear comfortable shoes. The IKEA team are very friendly, knowledgable and helpful. Don't go on an empty stomach but they do have restaurant there.

IKEA is an experience and can be overwhelming. I go in with a list so that I don't have to much trouble.
