Needed an electrician as there was no existing wiring for a ceiling fan in our kitchen, only overhead can lights. Found Heizer Electric via Angie's List, liked the reviews, same zip code as my area, so called and left a message. Owner Jeff Heizer promptly called me back and we set a time for him to come out for a quote. He got tied up on another job and he called to apologize (well before we were to meet) to reschedule our appointment. This consideration was very much appreciated.
So he arrives at the house, on time, and provides a detailed quote for parts and labor at what I considered a fair price for the work involved. He was able to schedule the project on the very next work day and even called the night before just to confirm our appointment.
He arrives (again on time) and goes over all he is going to do for the job. He was meticulous in his work and careful to keep the work area as clean as possible with drop cloths and cleaned up thoroughly when all done. His installation was perfect and he made sure I was happy before he finished. His actual parts cost was slightly less than his original estimate so he offered a refund which I politely refused. Call it a small tip for his professional, friendly service. I found Jeff to be very personable, as well.
When and if I ever need an electrician again, I will definitely call upon Jeff Heizer first.
