They have been doing it for 37 years. They came out in the middle of the night on a Friday night. They showed up. I have a maintenance plan with them. They troubleshot it. They didn't have the part, but were able to made it work for the evening. He took the sensor out, and came back the next day to replace it.
They gave me a discount. Their price is competitive. They don't gauge people. He was at home having dinner and was out within 40 minutes after I called them. They show up when they said say they will.
When you have a problem after hours and you call them, they will come out and fix the problem. They never give you a song and dance. They just tell you how it is. They are honest and give you a fair price for an excellent job.

I want to share something very impressive about my experience with Heinmiller Heating & Cooling. I purchased a Trane HVAC system from them 3 years ago, and unfortunately like many other people, the coil recently had to be replaced. From the time the system was installed, the freon ran out a number of times. The costs began to mount up. Finally, I raised the flag with the company. Mike researched the history of my service calls, and then decided to have a leak check done at their expense ($300). It was determined the coil needed to be replaced (warranty covered the parts and Mike is trying to see if Trane will cover the labor). After the coil was installed, again the system failed. My patience had now reached its limits. Very upset, I called to speak with Mike again. I'll tell you he was more upset than I was. I knew then that this company really tries to provide good customer service and care for its customers. He sent someone out and in the process determined that the drain had been plugged. I wasn't charge me for that service call. After investigating a bit I learned about two factors causing many HVAC systems to fail within a short time of being installed. One has to do with a declining quality of copper used in the systems, and the other with a new refrigerant requirement, which in essence is not truly compatible with the existing HVAC systems. HVAC service providers are suffering due to these two factors, which are beyond their control. Their reputations are being unfairly hurt. This company, Heinmiller Heating & Cooling really went the distance for their customer!

The subsequent times they’ve come out, they have done the annual maintenance service, which they check out various fluid levels and things like that. I would give them an “A”, I am pleased with their service.

I think they are all “A’s”, they have done a good job for us. We actually bought the unit from them. They come, they go in and open the unit up, do various steps on it and so forth, and then they leave. And then the air conditioner works. Workers are good.

My HVAC system was 17 years old and the last 2 service calls were to refill freon due to leaks that could not be repaired. So I saw the writing on the wall and instead of having it freeze up or otherwise fail when I was out of town or on a holiday weekend I decided to be proactive by having it replaced on my schedule before the summer heat arrived. I called Heinmiller for an estimate. They have been servicing my AC for several years. Tim Foster came out, sized the house, studied the installation locations and talked to me about my concerns. He then generated and estimate/proposal and sent it by email. I responded with some questions to which he responded quickly. After I accepted the proposal I scheduled the installation for a convenient day. The scheduled time was such that I could drop my 2 dogs off at day care for the day and then get home in time to greet the installers. They worked for about 9 hours. When they finished the installation looked very neat and was sealed up snug. The filter and drain line are easily accessible for changing and cleaning with out having to open any system panels. There is a drain line overflow switch. They added an equipment pad for the exterior unit. All work areas were cleaned up. The installers were very pleasant, responsive and professional. they waited an extra 15 minutes for me to return from picking up my dogs before the day care closed and then instructed me on the system. I appreciated that and was very happy with the installation. As the system ran I felt that the blower was very loud, much more than I was used to. I immediately called Heinmillers and they scheduled their usual quality control inspection to address my concerns. When Brian, the inspector, came out he went over the installation carefully checking the metrics for proper operation and he adjusted the fan setting down two levels. He also noticed that my configuration of breakers caused me to need a different sized breaker at the exterior compressor so he changed out that breaker. And provided me with the paperwork for the county permit inspector. I called Wanda at the office and asked her to schedule the county permit inspector on a day I could support, which she did. He came, the inspection went well and the job was complete. Heinmillers is a very professional business. They are punctual, respectful, responsive (on the phone and in person) and they take pride in their work. Start to finish there was not a moment of anxiety or frustration associated with this job which is the highest complement I can provide.

They have been very thorough from the first contact to the current repair. I chose them due to the very good price on the system I desired. They have been very accommodating, even going so far as to get set up with the manufacturer so I could get financing. I called this morning with a minor repair concern and a technician was sent right over. I am very pleased with their responsiveness and plan to use them for all of my maintenance and service needs in the future.
