Ronnie partially started, but never completed the 1st service week. He came to our door and told us he would return Monday, March 3rd to complete, but never did. He had indicated Thursdays were his regular day, but he showed up 2 days after that, but only to do a full service on the next door neighbor's yard (which he had completed the week before). Saturday, March 8th, no work (mowing, edging, weed eating, blowing) was completed on our property. No note or phone call was left to us as an explanation. When we saw him, we questioned the lack of service and Ronnie took offense and responded by canceling all future service and said he would stop by Monday, the 10th of March late in the day to settle up - to pay us back for the remainder of the pre-paid month. He once again was a no show. He claimed we were 'too picky." Meanwhile, neither of the first two service calls that we had pre-paid were completed. The second not even mowing or edging.
We sent a certified letter to Ronnie indicating a notice of dissatisfaction with his lack of service and his lack of completion of the first two lawn services and his subsequent promises of showing up to complete and his no show to settle the refund.
March 24, we received a check for half of March back (dated February 15, 2014 for some reason). He charged the full weekly amount for the first tow weeks even though he did not complete the job. The following week he charged full service rate and never mowed, edged, or blow leaves on property or bag them. He charged for leaves removed from an area off property (never did our property) and for spraying weeds - which we never wanted. He even stated he "was going to follow up Monday until comments were texted."
In his final statement, he indicates the services he would provide were mowing, edging, weed eating, blowing, trimming shrubs/ trees and palms, and weeding flower beds. We have no palms and did not request for trees trimmed nor shrubs. In his detail of the 1st service - he only indicates what he did - mow, edged, weed eating, blowing and leaf removal - but it was not completed.
In the second week - he provided services never requested. In fact, he told me that he did not want to provide spraying because he felt a license for that was needed and gave me a referral for that service (Massey).
He terminated the agreement and indicated on his statement that our texted comments asking him where he was and that we felt forgotten about - was the reason he quit and apparently felt okay overcharging us for never completed weekly services. Not one week service was completely finished. We were refunded one half month fee, but paid for services we did not want, and also we paid for two full service calls that were never completed.
This small lawn service is run erratically and not professionally. We apparently were charged for the underbids on a neighbor's properties and in addition we prepaid....a very big mistake.
Not at all reliable or professional.
