In 1976, Energy Air started as a humble air conditioning company operating in the garage of Robert French. Just four years later, Chuck Kulp joined the company and the two expanded their operation to a small warehouse space that doubled as the company’s office. With the team’s hard work, loyalty and dedication, this small operation has developed into a thriving company with multiple locations, several hundred employees and annual revenues in excess of $50 million. Chuck Kulp had a vision of a one-stop, full-service firm that integrates every aspect of the client’s needs. From pre-construction planning, through fabrication, installation and ongoing planned maintenance and service, Energy Air can do it all. Family values, a commitment to the community and its employees, along with the highest appreciation and respect for its clients is what Energy Air is all about. For more than 35 years, the Energy Air family has been involved in the community and active in numerous associations and professional organizations. The family-style approach to business has taken Energy Air from the early days of running the company out of a garage to the thriving business it is today. Since its inception, Energy Air has gone through several expansions and has increased market share in both residential and commercial markets. The company has broadened its services, grown its team and even moved into new locations. In 2010, Energy Air was named the Best Place to Work in Orlando in the large company category by the Orlando Business Journal. Chuck Kulp credits the family-style approach to business with the company’s continued success. And as Energy Air has grown, so has Chuck’s family. Today, many of those family members have become business partners. From his three sons to several grandchildren, you will see the Kulp family name appear frequently on the company’s organizational chart. And just like in a traditional family, shared values have contributed to the company’s success. Completing projects correctly and efficiently while providing excellent customer service has been the driving force for the Energy Air team. Their involvement in local trade organizations that support the industry, and their dedication to developing and maintaining relationships has been a key element to the company’s growth. In recent years, Energy Air launched its own in-house school complete with a three-year curriculum that trains employees on all aspects of HVAC. They have been the recipient of numerous awards for their safety program and have achieved monumental goals set by the leadership team. Whether you have a service request for your home or you need design-build services for a multi-million dollar commercial building, Energy Air has the knowledge and experience to get the job done. We look forward to working with you on your next project or service request!

The cost was free, it was new construction. They were back to repair it about a month ago. Their cost is much better than the ones I have had to use in Orlando.
"Thank you for the feedback. We appreciate you taking the time write a review so we can learn about our customer's expectations and what we can do to be better. We want to apologize for leaving you with a bad impression of our company's customer service and your feeling that you could not call us to discuss this matter with a manager before posting a poor review a year and 3 months after the repair. Had you called to discuss this matter, we would have flown to the moon and back to make this up to you. We aren't perfect, but we stand behind our work and strive to do better every day. We are not making any excuses, but a couple factors based on the notes in the computer make this a difficult situation. This was an in-warranty service that was provided on Saturday, May 24, 2014 which is after normal business hours (system started up June 2013 during the construction of the home). Since this was an in warranty motor, it required an OEM replacement motor in order to be covered under the manufacturer’s warranty. Universal motors are not covered under warranty and there are 2 systems in the home which was cooling the larger portion of the home. We can't possibly inventory every manufacturer's type and style motor on the service vans. The part had to be ordered and picked up at the local distributor. Monday, May 26th was Memorial Day and the local distributor was closed for the holiday. The motor was ordered on the next business day, Tuesday, May 27th, and the customer was called on the 28th for us to install the motor on the 28th. The customer stated he was in and out of the home all day and we would have to come out on the 29th to install it. On the 29th, we installed the motor and checked the operation of the equipment. Based on the notes in the computer, it does appear that we were late. The same technician was scheduled for 2 service calls in the same neighborhood and went to the homes out of sequence. He should have gone to this customers home first call in the morning and we didn't arrive until 10:45 am. If you would allow us to make this up to you, please do not hesitate to call and ask for the Residential Service Manager. Best Regards, The Energy Air Residential Service Team 407.886.3729"
