There was an additional charge of $100 for additional areas being treated, which was surprising since I thought the Big Deal I purchased covered it. However, he did a good job with treatment and he is coming back for 2 more follow up treatments for the cost.

Craig (manager) and Cima came for the initial treatment at our new house. They were on-time, friendly, and professional. After finding a wolf spider, Craig told me i needed an extra treatment specifically for killing spiders. I figured there would be an additional charge for this service but it ended up being included in the annual price. We have had a technician return for two follow-up appointments to make sure the treatments are working. We are seeing fewer pests and its comforting knowing that if something does emerge, Drake pest control can be relied on to take care of the problem.

Tom with Drake Termite & Pest Control was amazing, he took his time to explain everything to us...took his time to check everything in the home and do a full evaluation and sprayed everywhere inside and outside. We did decide to do the every other month service, if the rest of the service is as good as the one Tom gave us then we will have long partnership with Drake Pest control. Very pleased for sure and will highly recommend.

Very well. The tech was very professional and did a very through job applying pest control material. I have not seen any bugs since.

My technician was thorough and professional. he discussed all problem areas and made recommendations.

Last of three applications was conducted on 5 August. I have only seen one adult cockroach which was on 12 August. I was told to wait ten days after last application before contacting the office for additional services.   

Tech showed up and asked what kind of bugs I am seeing.  Told him german roaches and he immediate said there would be $100 upcharge for that before he would come in the house.  He told me it states that on Angie's List but of course it does not.  Came in and looked around and said he would have to reschedule for another day. 

I guess the service is only $349 if you don't have any pests that need exterminating.

Went back and forth with Angie's and the Company for days and never got a resolution.  (Angie's failed also in the end all I got was an email saying you have to deal with them yourself.  Just because they are on the site doesn't mean they will help at all!) Craig Cox the GM explained that the upcharge is because they have to come back for one extra visit with some bugs, so a year of service really only means 4 visits I guess.  If they need more in their determination it is $100 a visit

Tech who visited house was very nice and professional though. Nothing on him I am sure it is all company policy.

So going with another pest control company to see if it is any better. Pro-Staff has about the same deal for $50 less and no upcharges.

We chose Drake based on the comments we read on Angie's List and also based on the fact that they do not spend tons of money on advertising - the cost of which is always passed on to the customer.  We were immediately impressed with the Drake
tech, Jimmy Maloney.  He arrived promptly and was ready to go to work.  He explained what he would be doing that first day and also the follow-up "as needed" visits to get the problem under control.  He also explained the additional services included in our annual contract.  We are extremely pleased with Jimmy's professionalism and his determination to solve our immediate problem.  It's also good to know that we will always have the same tech, Jimmy, and that the company does not rotate techs.  Lest we forget, the office staff is very pleasant and helpful in answering any questions or concerns we have had.  I think Drake is a very well-run operation and I'm glad we chose them.  Drake started working with us in early July.

The specialist they sent showed up on time for the treatment.  It began to rain outside but that did not deter them.  His name was Tom and he was so great.  He listened to all of our needs and tried to address as much as he could while he was there.  He could only treat the interior but helped setup a follow up appointment to take care of the exterior.  He seemed just as concerned about our potential pest problems as we were.  It was a new house that was vacant for awhile so the bug population was up.  Tom came back for the Exterior and did a great job with that as well.  Very professional and always willing to help.  I will be a customer of theirs for awhile!

Never scheduled a time to stop by.   Asked for a weekend appointment (if available), disputed it with Angie's List (too old for a refund) and here we still have not heard from them or received service or further communication.   Maybe this will get someone's attention.

Tom arrived exactly at time that was agreed upon, very polite and professional, explained all order of work, and what we can expect after treatment. Then not wasting a minute, he inspected the house and exterior, treated all areas, thoroughly explained how we can get follow up treatment, after being asked offered further services with agreement without imposing it on us.
In all, this experience was very pleasant.

Wonderful. I saw results after their first visit and I signed up for monthly service.
