Orlando Water, LLC

We contracted with Dolphin Water (Now doing business as Orlando Water Inc / Kinetico) to install a Kinetico softner system on Jan 15, 2011. They arrived as promised and installed the system. The problem is the brine water/backwash drain was simply setup by sticking a short piece of PVC pipe into the ground and putting the backwash hose into it. This did not work and resulted in Salty water being poured out over the grass which created a hole in the ground near the foundation and would kill the grass. I contacted Orlando Water on Wednesday the 19th (right after the first backwash was performed) and they said they would fix the problem immediately. I came home to discover that the "fix" was to run a piece of PVC to the edge of a flower bed and the driveway. This resulted in the salt water discharge being pumped into the bed and down the driveway along the edge of the grass for the entire length of the driveway down to the street. I have had softner systems in the past, as do many of my neighbors and have NEVER seen a setup this half baked. Completely unacceptable. UPDATE: After another round of phone calls they did come back and and install a better drainage system that meets my needs. We are thrilled with the Kinetico softner, but the installation left a lot to be desired.

THE TECHNICIAN THAT CAME TO THE HOUSE WAS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND HAD OUR SYSTEM WORKING AFTER MAKING MINOR REPAIRS. THE PRICE WAS GREAT AND OUR SYSTEM IS STILL WORKING GREAT TOO
