Discount Garage Doors has been serving 18 counties in Central Florida since 1998. We have 14 office employees and 29 technicians and installers. Our company was founded upon the principle of repairing garage doors properly for a fair price. Our reputation is well known in the areas we service, and more than 70% of our jobs are from referrals or repeat customers. We are family owned and operated, not a franchise or national company, which allows us to monitor closely the quality of our work. We use the absolute highest quality doors, operators, and repair parts, each one undergoing a strict quality assurance program. Our standard residential service call charge is $35.00, but we waive this for Angie's List members. In addition, we offer a 10% discount for jobs over $100.00 to members. We do not charge extra for after hours calls.

Technician Robert arrived exactly on schedule and came prepared with all parts and tools needed on hand. He explained the various options, from simple spring replacement to comprehensive door refurbishment, some with extensive warranties. We chose a mid-level refurbishment, with new springs, bearings, cables, and door rollers. Job was done in pretty close to 2 hours, and the door is now nearly silent (motor whirs).

Great. We called on a Sunday afternoon and got an appt for Monday 12-3. The service persona came on time, replaced several old rollers, made sure everything worked well. It is like new, working great.

I am very impressed by Discount Garage Doos Inc. The operator who answered followed through and found someone willing to help on a Sunday morning. Ray was wonderful and fixed my garage door. Prior to his visit, I couldn't get the door open. I appreciated the way your company responded so quickly on a Sunday morning. I will be calling again when I save up a little more. The operator service was very friendly and provided multiple service date opportunities. She even mentioned the 35.00 service fee would be waived because we were Angie’s List members. The technician Eric was fantastic. Showed up on time called 30 min prior as promised. Eric was very friendly, promptly reviewed the issue with the garage door opener. Estimated the cost almost to the nickel including tax. He was done in about 30 to 40 min. I would highly recommend this company and ask for Eric.

Excellent, Matt came and replaced old rollers with plastic rollers. Tune up and rollers replaced took about one hour. Very efficient and excellent service. He explained what he was doing and results were great. Door works fine and quieter.

not good, be aware of new installation big garage door mechanism not required! I think they may have a quota to meet, selling new openers. I told him I'll think about it. I called the previous resident of the house, he said unlock from the wall switch and pull the cord on the rail. it worked and still working after 4 months.
