Denise Crafferty

We bid on a home, counters went back and forth and then Denise told us on the 21st that the home was under contract to another buyer. We found out (on our own) that as of noon on the 24th, it was not under contract and we could have been competing to purchase the home. It did go under contract at 5:00 that day, but we had lost four days because of Denise's email to us saying it was a done deal. This was one of only two homes in the neighborhood we wanted that met our criteria.
When I presented Denise with my finding, her email reply was that our offer was low. She should have said that on the 21st, instead of telling us the house was under contract to someone else. There is a big difference between "you need to raise your bid" and "someone else bought the house".
