DELINTZ DRYER VENT CLEANING

Alex was amazing ,he throughly cleaned the dryer and vent pipe then went on roof and cleaned the vent cap.thirty five feet in the air.Alex is extremely professional and charming.It's the only company we would use.

Worker showed up on time and was a courteous, respectful young man. It's refreshing these days. He went straight to work and didn't mind me watching. The previous owners must not have EVER cleaned the vents or it had been a very long time. Not sure how the place didn't burn down. He suctioned the door seals, the lint tray and inside the dryer drum in crevices I didn't realize existed. He moved on to the rear of the dryer with the same small suction for small spaces. He said the dryer hose was dry-rotted and offered to replace it for an additional $15 to which I accepted because I was short on time to get my own. He proceeded to 'snake' the long line of the venting leading to the roof. Tons of lint came out. He then climbed to the roof (2 story, BTW) and and worked backwards with the 'snake' to get a thorough cleaning of the entire venting system. He came down with pics of the vent showing there was literally a pink finger sized hole for air to escape and said on a scale of 0-10, with 10 being the worst he's seen, my line was a NINE!! The pieces that fell, not floated to the ground was like hardened cotton candy left out overnight unsealed! It was thick clumps!!! Still unbelievable the house didn't burn to the ground!! While up there, he also noticed a six to eight foot section of shingles missing at a joint with wood beams exposed. It turned out to be a large problem and we are in the middle of getting an inspector over for structural damage to the roofing beams and sturdiness!! Thank you so much for that!!

The gentleman who showed up came perfectly on time I was told 8-9 and he was there at 8. Everything went smoothly cleaned out dryer vent from bottom to top then went on roof and went from top to bottom. He had to replace an inexpensive part and the entire job was completed in about an hour. Our dryer hasn't worked this well since we purchased it

I sent Delintz a message through the Angie's List Website at noon on Fri. 12/15/2017. On Sat. 12/16, I called Delintz at noon and left a voice mail message. On Sun. 12/17, Steve sent me a message through Angie's List saying that Kim would call me on Mon. 12/18 to set up an appointment. Kim called me Monday afternoon and scheduled an appointment for between 9-10 AM on Tues., 12/19. She apologized for the delay and said they had been having phone and email issues. Mark arrived at 9:05 AM on Tues. and completed the full cleaning in 35 minutes. Mark was friendly, efficient, and professional. He used an air compressor with a long hose to help dislodge and blow out lint, plus an industrial vacuum cleaner to pick up that lint. He brought his own ladder to climb up to the roof and remove and blow out additional lint through the roof vent. The cost was $84 exactly as quoted (reflected a $5 discount as a repeat customer). I recommend Delintz. The only minor negative: I had to spend 15 minutes outdoors picking the lint off the bushes, mulch, and lawn since Delintz does not do that.

I called on a Tuesday and was given an appointment on Thursday morning. Aaron was my technician. He called half an our before arrival and was right on time. He was courteous, professional, and did an excellent job. Not only did he clean the vent leading up to my roof which was 100% clogged by previous house owner's dirty lint, he fixed the venting in the attic so the pipe reached all the way to the top of the roof and out. The previous owners were venting lint into the attic!! I could not be more satisfied with the service, professionalism, and price. I will recommend and use Delintz again. (Cost includes Angie's list coupon of $85 cleaning and also repair to vent in hot attic)

The tech arrived promptly, was thorough and efficient in his work (and I had a complicated vent which needed cleaning both from the hook-up to the dryer and from the roof vent) and cleaned up after completing his work.
