One of the most punctual, prompt, CLEAN, precise contractor we have ever used. His attention to details is very impressive AND he cleans up after himself (rare thing).

In our previous house, we resisted having an entertainment unit because we thought it would be imposing. We instead had baskets and bookcases. In this house, after ogling all those beautiful photos on houzz.com, we decided to go with a built-in. We showed Mark photos of what we liked. He gave us drawings and offered suggestions on paint (two down on color strip from our wall color) and embellishments (fluted columns to match our kitchen unit). His cabinets are sturdy and have a smooth, beautiful finish that make it wonderful to touch. The draws and cabinet doors operate with ease and the design is truly classic. Sometimes you look at those decor websites and think you can never have that home. Mark made it possible. He is a master craftsmen with a passion for woodworking and a tremendous eye for detail and a perfectionist.

Mark installed and painted 5 1/4 inch crown moulding in 7 rooms. He took time to review our requirement and took pictures of the existing baseboards to make sure the crown was a good match. He bought paint from Sherwin Williams to match existing trim color. He was flexible on installation dates despite our ever changing closing date and even worked over the holidays. Mark and Henry did a great job installing everything and took great care to minimize disruption and protect our floors, walls and furniture.
Custom Craft Woodworks also designed and built a custom shelf for my son's bedroom which looks terrific. Mark is a true craftsman.
The final result is awesome. Will be using them again and highly recommended.

Mark is a master craftsman.  He is someone that will work with you to get the correct image you want, in a timely manner, and with minimal hassles.  We ordered 2 book cases for a small library we had constructed that would have storage on the bottom 3 feet, and showcase glass doors on the top 5 feet.  We wanted a white finish with fluting (groves) on the bottom front divider areas and glass doors on the top.  The glass doors were an extra expense that we were willing to pay for and they turned out just the way we wanted.  Mark used emails with drawings to convey what was happening and how the bookcases would look.
A MAJOR problem presented to Mark was a poorly constructed support wall that juts out from the main wall about a foot and a half - its a dividing area (line) for the library and is there (along with another wall on the other side of the room that is straight) for a major support beam of the roof trusses.  One of the bookcase's side would rest against this curved, poorly finished wall.  The wall is suppose to be straight but turned out to be curved, and it is noticeable to the naked eye.  We were forced into accepting this curved wall due to the awful finish work done by a previous contractor who built the wall - it was to late to fix it due to the considerable expense required to tear it down and do it again.  We did explore the internal work and found that construction was ok but the wall board and studs curved up to the 18 foot ceiling.  Now back to Mark - who cut into the wall board and literally fitted the bookcase into the wall.  Mark fixed the look of the wall and the bookcase to make it look straight.  We could not be happier.  All the bottom mop board molding was fitted and looked built in as well.
You should be confident and happy in your result if you hire him to do your work.
We will use Mark again for cabinet work.
