The service department is completely disorganized. First, they do not confirm appointments or notify the customer as to when the service tech will arrive. Second, they show up with the wrong or missing parts. Third, they send out a notice that the service order is complete when the work was not performed. Do not use Culligan!!!

I bought a house less than 5 months ago and part of my closing deal was new products from Culligan that should have warranty. Within those 5 months, I found out that my transformer was hooked up incorrectly and that my sterner pump tube and cap were damaged. I called to get these items repaired under the warranty and was informed in a rudely manner that I do not have warranty because I was not the original purchaser... OFC i'm not the purchaser but It was part of my closing deal so it was bought for me my info should be in their system for warranty.... So they agreed to come and fix the transformer for free but still charger me 40$ for trip charge and +$ for parts for the pump that should not have broken in less than 5 months due to a incorrect install and be in warranty anyways... I will definitely not recommend their services or products to anyone and debating to get rid of all their products because of this as well.

I would not recommend them to anybody in this area. They're the poorest company I have ever seen down here. I will never use them again. They were good the first year but when the warranty ran out, they weren't worth a darn. I had them out here. They sent people out here and you tell them what the problem is. They want to do the work but they don't have the parts with them. They want to charge you over $100 for a service call for no reason. They started charging too much for their supplies. I buy my supplies at the hardware store. I would never use Culligan for anything. I would use an independent company. I had to call the corporate office and file a complaint after complaint against the company to get things straightened out. I finally got things straightened up north. They wanted to charge $100 to diagnose the problem and they wanted to get the parts and charge me another service call to fix the problem after they diagnosed it.

"On January 27th, 2015 a service call was scheduled by the customer because their unit was not using salt and using too much res-care. Our standard service call for equipment out of warranty is $99.00. Technician found the solenoid in the unit to be bad. The technician was scheduled to go back to the customer on January 29th to replace the solenoid. Since we were returning, no service call was charged and the customer would only have to pay for the solenoid. Customer was scheduled with a time window between 3-4 on the 29th. At 4:50 pm the customer cancelled the service call and did not reschedule."

"On May 28, 2015 a service call was performed on the customer's equipment. The technician found the unit stuck in regeneration and the seal pack piston was bad due to high levels of chlorine in his water. The tech rebuilt the valve body, flushed the unit, checked all cycles and left in regeneration. Customer was interested in adding a carbon filter to help protect his softener On June 9th we returned to install at the customer's request a Big Blue 20" Filter which was installed."

They were very good. They did not try to sell us the most expensive thing. I just wanted it to be filtered and the water taste good, and he gave us just that. He didn't pressure us for anything else. They did a good job.

System is working good. But not happy with their price and service. When the system was sold to us we were told they will move it for a small fee. It turned out their small fee was over $350. Besides, since I didn't do my homework I found out later that I could have gotten the same system for way less money with same quality. I don't think their system is worth the money.
