Our installers were prompt, courteous, and careful of our new wood floors. They did a good job on the carpet, which is just what we wanted, color and style.

I was very satisfied with the job that Creative Flooring did. Our new floors look great!
The sales team did a good job helping us consider our options and come up with a quote that met our needs. We ended up going with some of the more high-cost options but they found out a way to make it work for our budget.
Once we paid the deposit I did have to stay involved to find out about timeline and scheduling. I didn't mind doing that, but I would have preferred a little more frequent communication so we knew what was happening along the way.
I really liked the installation teams. Since it took a little longer than we first thought to get the product in, they worked hard and long to get the job done on schedule. Their work was excellent! Since the tile team was here for several days, we got to know them a little bit and really got along.

It was good. I went to their showroom to look at what they had and they sent someone 2 days later to do the estimate on the carpet. He was professional. He just measured out the rooms pretty quick. He got in and out fast and they called me later on that afternoon about the measurements on what it would run for everything. I'm pretty sure he showed up on time.

They did an excellent job. It was a little expensive but the quality of the carpet and the padding was worth it. I got what I paid for they were easy to work with. I strongly recommend them.

They were excellent and did a great job. When I went to pick up the carpet they did a great job of measuring it. They installed it and followed up to make sure I was happy. They were great.

The salesperson was professional but did not provide necessary information regarding what to expect during the installation. Having never had wood flooring installed in an existing home, we were unaware of the concrete dust that would permeate our home as a result of the installers prepping the slab after removing the carpet. We were simply told to move the furniture out of the rooms. As a result, all of our drapes throughout the house had to be taken down and cleaned as well as the furniture and floors throughout the rest of the house. The installer was grumpy and unfriendly. The floors were not cleaned well after installation; glue was left on the wood, and in several areas the wood did not adhere and made a popping sound when walked on. The salesperson said they would have the installer come back to take care of that situation, and twice, the installer no showed. Eventually, the installer returned to correct the problem. We expressed our disappointment with the lack of instructions and the installer's inability to show for the appointment. And finally, after spending over $5,000, the installer did not leave us any of the left over planks, which we paid for. We shared this with the salesperson but never heard anything more from the company.

The slaesman at the store was very helpful, came out and did a free measuring, then we went over prices, quotes, etc. When we found the right carpet, they were able to set up financing, an installation date within a week on a Saturday, and no hidden charges. The installers were on time, professional, and moved furniture carefully. The carpet itself looks beautiful and when we compared the same thing to oher retailers, Creative Floors was $500 below their costs. The installers removed the old carpet, cleaned, and even redid my hardwood floor thresholds better then the installers from a different place earlier. Overall I was very happy with the service and the carpet is great. I would highly recommend Creative Floors.

Both service and installation went very well. We went to the store and chose a couple of samples to take home. The sales representative, Pat, also picked out a couple of samples. We liked best one of the patterns she had chosen. Installation was very professional. Vinyl was cut to fit well, and cuts were straight and close to the edges and finished off with tidy caulking. They did great job!

We are extremely satisfied. Pat Best at the East Colonial store was fantastic in helping us pick out the best product at the best price (approx. $8 a sq. foot installed). We have dogs and she guided me to the hickory with an aluminum oxide finish--so far it has been perfect (even with the occasional wee-wee from our elderly pet.) This floor has had wet dog prints, water dripping from slurping canine mouths, etc; and it handles it all. We use a mop that has terry cloth pads to wipe up and then clean with the manu, (recommended spray product.) Looks great. The installation was tough, although Brad and his guys did a great job. You should know ahead of time that every item has to come up off the floor and be stored somewhere for several days--we crammed everything into the garage. I wish we had rented a portable storage unit. Also, our slab was not the most level, and they decided there was too much moisture, so there was some added cost in extra coatings. Overall, great work.

I wasn't 100% happy with the way that they put down the floor. There were hollow sounding places on the floor which I wasn t happy about. Their selection wasn t that great. The sample they brought out looked nice, but what they actually installed was much lighter. I wouldn't use them again.

"THIS CUSTOMER PURCHASED HER FLOORING BACK IN 2004 AFTER VISITING OUR SHOWROOM AND MAKING HER SELECTION FROM OUR LARGE ARRAY OF LAMINATES. SHE APPROVED THE PRODUCT AFTER SEEING THE SAMPLE IN HER HOME AND SHORTLY THEREAFTER CREATIVE FLOORS DID THE INSTALLATION. A FEW MONTHS LATER, SHE MADE AN ADDITIONAL PURCHASE FOR THE SAME PRODUCT THAT WE INSTALLED IN ANOTHER ROOM. IN REGARDS FOR THE HOLLOW SOUND, IT IS NOT UNUSUAL TO HAVE THAT IN LAMINATE FLOORS, DUE TO THE FACT THAT THEY ARE "FLOATING" FLOORS INSTALLED OVER UNDERLAYMENT AND ARE NOT ATTACHED TO THE SUBFLOOR. INSTALLATION RELATED ISSUES ARE ADDRESSED IN A TIMELY MANNER BY CREATIVE FLOORS, HOWEVER THIS CUSTOMER HAS NOT MADE ANY COMPLAINT AND ON THE CONTRARY, CAME BACK AND PURCHASED ADDITIONAL FLOORING FROM US."

The installer who did the master bedroom did a great job. The one who did the guest bedroom did terrible work. He took chunks out of our baseboard, the carpet was wavy (he said it would fall out, a week later it hadn't) and he installed the carpet even though it had a cut in it that was perpendicular to the wall and was about two feet long. We didn't notice the cut until after they left because of the debris (they did not clean up after the job was done). We called and they sent a manager to the house along with the installer who did the guest room, they trimmed a few loose pieces, rolled the carpet and left without offering to replace it. So we called again, and we were told "Oh, we expected to hear back from you, we'll replace the carpet." We would have had a good experience and nothing to complain about if they had done the right thing and offered to replace the carpet immediately. We were going to use them for hardwood floors too, but not now!
Response from CREATIVE FLOORS
"FIRST, WE WOULD LIKE TO APOLOGIZE FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE THIS CAUSED THE MEMBER. UPON BECOMING AWARE OF THE SITUATION, OUR MANAGER WENT OUT TO THE CUSTOMERS HOME THE DAY AFTER THE INSTALLATION TO EVALUATE THE SITUATION AND TO POSSIBLY OFFER THE OPTION OF REPLACING THE CARPET. WHILE HE WAS THERE, THE INSTALLER, WHO ALSO CAME ALONG WITH THE MANAGER, DID TRY TO FIX THE AREA OF CONCERN. OUR MANAGER OFFERED TO HER HUSBAND TO REPLACE THE CARPET. THE CUSTOMER STATED THAT HE NEEDED TO SPEAK TO HIS WIFE WHO WASN'T HOME AT THE TIME. THE CUSTOMER CALLED BACK LATER THAT DAY TO OK THE REPLACEMENT, IN WHICH WE IMMEDIATELY ORDERED THE NEW PIECE OF CARPET FOR THAT ROOM. UPON ARRIVAL OF THE NEW PIECE,THE NEW CARPET WAS INSTALLED WITHIN A WEEK OF THE ORIGINAL INSTALLATION. WE RECTIFIED THIS SITUATION AS FAST AS WE WERE ABLE. THE CUT IN THE CARPET WAS A ACCIDENT ON THE PART OF THE INSTALLER AND WE APOLOGIZE. WE DO FEEL THIS WAS HANDLED THIS SITUATION IN A PROFESSIONAL MANNER AND WE ARE SORRY SHE DOES NOT SEE IT THAT WAY. WE ARE ALSO SORRY WE HAVE LOST HER FUTURE BUSINESS OVER THIS."

Work completed to satisfaction. Job took twice as long as promised by Creative sales person. In fact the installer told us within 5 minutes of arriving that this job was 2.5 days and not 1. Perhaps if they showed up before 9 or 10 am and stayed until 5 pm it would have required less time off of work for us.

Initial consultation was great. The account rep was very helpful and we were able to get scheduled quickly. The estimate wasn't the cheapest but we had heard and read good things about the company. The tile guys were OUTSTANDING - efficient and very helpful, even suggested a new layout on the foyer tile. The carpet guy was THE BEST - my husband (who's very picky) had high praise for him. The wood floor guys were another story -- AFTER they had spent a day prepping the floor (which the original estimate did not expect) they told us the floor was too damp to put down flooring. This should have been checked when doing original estimate! After much delay, frustration (on my part), and an extra step of coating the floor with a rubberized compound they said it was dry enough and laid the floor. The finish details weren't the best and to this day I'm not convinced that they were reading their moisture meter correctly. We'd hire the company again but request different wood floor guys.

Horrendous. The initial crew sent to my home either did not know a thing about tiling or did not care about the job. The job was supposed to be completed in 2 days but since the crew arrived hours late each day, worked only a few hours each day, or failed to show up, the job stretched out for more than a week and was not completed. I called the company many times, mailed them certified letters and took pictures to show them of the shoddy workmanship being performed by their crew and was ignored. One item brought to their attention was the lack of an under tile shower pan specified in the contract and I was told not to worry about it as it was not required. Research I did contradicted this. It was not until I hired an attorney who sent them a letter that I received some (unfriendly) attention. A new crew was sent out and they had to completely rip out and redo the work previously done by the first crew. My bathroom was unusable for 2 months and I incurred legal fees.

Rocky start due to being unprepared for dust and disruption that the installation required. I did not feel I had been warned and properly prepped by sales person to cover clothing, make sleeping arrangements, etc. Installers did best job possible prepping me on the spot. First floor installation of chosen product did not work well due to size/orientation of strips, did not blend with existing flooring. HOWEVER, after talking with owner Bob Campbell, Creative Floors agreed to come in and replace the first floor with better more appropriate product at no cost, and apologized for the lack of communication regarding dust/disruption. Bob made a point to be sure I was a satisfied customer and inspired confidence. I would use them again no doubt.

Our experience with Creative Floors was excellent. They helped find a tile that was very close to the existing tile floor. Price was fair and work was done on the days scheduled and completed when scheduled. Crews for tiling and carpet trimming were very courteous and worked with us as they laid the tile. We are very pleased and the result looks GREAT.

WE WERE VERY SATISFIED WITH THEIR WORK. THERE WAS SOME PROBLEMS, AND THE OWNER OF COMPANY SOLVED IT TO MY SATISFACTION. THE PRICING WAS GOOD. THEY WERE COMPARABLE WITH OTHER COMPETITORS. THEY CAUSED SOME DAMAGE AND WERE SARCASTIC ABOUT IT. THEY TOLD THEM TO BLAME IT ON THE KID ON THE CREW. THE WORKERS WERE NOT PROFESSIONAL. WHEN I CALLED TO COMPLAIN ABOUT THE PROBLEMS HE SENT OTHER PEOPLE OUT TO REMEDY THE SITUATION.
