"Sorry to see the client found my services to be nothing more than a "D". I arrived on time, helped move a few pieces of furniture to his garage, in which I was compensated, and attempted to solve his carpet problem. I have been in the flooring business for 19 years and very seldom do I find carpeting that has "No Elasticity", which means that Mr. W carpet does not have a stretch even though the other installer got rid of the ripples. When you stretch carpet in that condition, it will stretch 2 inches or more, and when you release the pressure from the power stretcher, the carpet will not retract. If I cannot Install, repair, or re-stretch your carpet professionally, if your existing carpet will not hold a stretch, I will inform you as I did with Mr. and Mrs. [member name removed] Most carpet installers are looking for a quick buck and will do the install/re-stretch even if your carpet is "Defective". I donot operate that way. You deserve better. That alone should get an "A" Rating."
"In response to the poor review received based on Mr. [removed member name] comment, Neither I nor my associate spoke with Mr. [removed member name] The initial call was made by Mrs.,[removed member name] she explained her dilemma to me (C.R. Morris) and requested a labor quote to solve the problem. I informed her of our labor charge, and the procedure that would solve her problem. That call was received by me on Fri. Sept. 5th at approximately 1:15 P.M. She explained that she would need to talk with her husband. [removed member name] called once more on Sept. 10th at approximately 3:30 P.M. my installation associate (Anita) spoke with her, informing her that I was out of town, and she was prepared to schedule an appointment, but [removed member name] didn't want to speak with anyone but me, asking when I left, for what reason, where I went, and when am I coming back. Anita has been with my company for 10 years and I am very confident in her customer service skills, she is half the reason our customer/client base is completely satisfied with their experience using our company. I don't mind giving customers and clients information on my availability, but it's not proper to ask personal questions pertaining to where I went, when I left, and for what reason. We are very easy people to get along with as I'm sure you know if you read our reviews, it's those few individuals that you just can't please, It's not easy giving a rebuttal on a complaint due to the fact that I don't like to step on peoples toes, but I believe Angie's List Members need to see both sides of the story."
