I contacted Mr Mark ***** owner of Cool Zone A/C INC. I gave him a detailed scope of work to be performed. We agreed and signed a contract for $7418. The remaining part to be paid on separate billing, (Total agreement $8615.) something about coming in at a lower number helped with permit cost. Commenced work 12 18 20. The tech opened up the system and bled all the R22 refrigerant to the atmosphere. Moving right along the equipment was not labeled as specified. Had to call manf to get correct labels. When the tech pulled the refrigerant lines they put a 90 degree kink in the large copper line. The tech tried to repair ,squeezing with a pliers, I was told not a problem. Startup next day temp. 40 degrees. Mark told me they would come back when temp in 90s for fine tuning .Their techs came out total 4 times, 2 for thermostat, training and adjustment and 2 for fine tuning. The last tech had to call Mark for guidance not successful .Last tech released refrigerant and said a/ok. I called another company recommended by the manuf. for my particular equipment to check operating efficiently, they had to add more refrigerant. costing me $143. The install looks good. But it's what is underneath that counts. I would really not recommend.

had a few issues with after-sale customer service. The salesperson I worked with failed to respond to my requests for warranty information. Finally, Cool Zone AC office handled my request. Overall, though, I was pleased with the price and installation of the HVAC system.

I was looking around for an HVAC company that could remove an old system and install a new one for my rental property. I used Home Advisor and got a couple different quotes. Devin, from Cool Zone was the only one who followed up with me. That's why I decided to give them my business. We had set up the initial install date weeks in advance and on the day before install, I decided to call them. They informed me that due to shortages in material, they could not perform the install on the date scheduled. Not very convenient since I was finding out the day before install with me having to call them. Poor communication. Another sales rep stepped, since Devin had taken personal leave. Mark, who worked on getting me another system for the house the following Monday. They guys worked all day on the system and didn't bother to check the electric for the condenser pump, before leaving and the install was poor quality. The AC ran for over 24 hours and all of the water from the unit leaked all over the house. Ruined the lower portion of my kitchen cabinets and wood flooring in the bedroom. Speaking to Mark, he was very argumentative, even said he would come and pull the system out, not the reaction I was expecting. They came back to find the outlet they plugged into was off in the breaker panel and the overflow sensor wasn't hooked up. No apology, no offer to fix what they had damaged. I reluctantly paid him for the install, even though I will spend more to fix what they damaged. When his techs came back to fix the system, they left the back door wide open and the door to the garage open as well. They also used my shop vac, that was in the house, and didn't clean it out or empty it. I reached out to him about those things and he ignored me. I guess when they get their money, they move on. I've been in the building industry for many years and have never had a more disappointing experience than this. What was supposed to be the more easy project on this rental home has turned into one of the most costly.

The project was very difficult to execute due to the lack of space where the old AC interior unit was located, in the actic. Cool Zone installers went above and beyond their scope of responsibility to remove the old unit and install the new one with outstanding results. Very probably I will recommend this company to anybody in such need of AC repairs/installation. Very professionals at what they do, blended with an outstanding sales and customer service department.

I didnâ t know this company until I was advised by home advisor to contact them. I contacted them and Mark called me that same evening. I was on the phone with him a couple times, and I always have lots of questions and can be a kind of annoying. He was patient and kind gave me the information I needed and let me make my own decision. Two days later they were installing my air conditioning unit. The service technician, Max, was very pleasant very polite and very considerate when asking questions and me wondering what was going on. They finish the job in a timely manner cleaned up my yard took away their things and now my house is cool as a cucumber. I will give him recommendation for Mark and Max, and Marvin, they were all very wonderful people. Thank you for helping me , During my time of heat and desperation. , also the price was right.

Very good service. I got 2 heat pump AC 20 seer units installed. They did great job and offered competitive price when compared to other contractors.

An excellent company to deal with, professional and honest.

They were quick, professional and the product is off-the-charts great. I noticed an immediate difference in my air conditioning. However, I was promised a rebate from the manufacturer and from my power company. I did not receive either because they installed the wrong air handler, thus costing me an extra $1,950. Have waited 6 months for them to correct this problem, and they keep promising that the replacement unit will be in by the end of next week. Next week never comes.
