He was prompt in his response and came out to give me an estimate which was reasonable. We made an appointment for him to come back to replace and he was there on time and did a great job and cleaned up afterwards. He also adjusted my mirrored doors to ensure the breakage wouldn't happen again.

Mark Pace only does residential work on weekends and evenings, so the bigger the job the bigger the crew he brings on the first Saturday. This time he brought his son. Removing the old hurricane shutter turned out to be a nightmare, having to be cut off panel by panel. I needn't have worried, it was off by noon. These doors are Miami-Dade approved hurricane resistant doors and are not pre-hung, they are assembled in place around the laminated insulated glass unit and then installed in the frame. Late night for Mark and son, but the doors are in and the house secure. Back to it next day and by late afternoon the exterior wall has been repaired and resided. Door closers went in later in the week, and the screens went in next weekend, A fiddly job that has to be done right or the screens won't operate properly. Flawless job all round, the whole installation screens and all looks like it grew there.

Outstanding job. Mark and his crew arrived Saturday morning, had all the old windows out and hauled away and the new ones in by evening. Mark came back the next day to finish up the insulation and caulking around the windows. Mark is a long-time employee of a glass company who does residential work on his own account on weekends. They recommend him as an excellent installer. He is licensed, insured, and has accounts with the major window manufacturers. He is looking to expand his weekend work into a full time job. His bid was $3000 less than my lowest quote for a similar non-Dade county approved Alclad window, and $5000 less than my lowest quote for the same Simonton windows. If you like quality work, low price, and not having to take off work to be home when your house is wide open, give Mark a call.
