College Girl Cleaning Service

I called this company to do a deep cleaning of my place. When the lady arrived at my place I informed her that I wouldn't be home so I went ahead and paid her. I was gone 3-4 hours and when I came back she was done. Of course my place looked nice but, I am very particular and I don't believe the job was done thoroughly enough. With a deep cleaning I expected very meticulous cleaning of every corner. Window sills and the area around the vertical blinds were missed. My bathtub was clean but, didn't sparkle. With a deep cleaning I expect the refrigerator to be moved and cleaned under which was not done. For $100 I guess I got what I paid for. I thought the price was low for a deep cleaning but, since this was the only company to contact me after I emailed them I thought that must have been the going rate. This company is excellent with initial communication although, nobody contacted me afterwards to see how satisfied I was with the service. For a regular cleaning I would say this company does a fine job but, not meticulous enough.

We are a young professional couple with a small 2 bedroom home. No children. We used CGCS for about 4 months on a bi-weekly basis last year. The price was really good so we didn't mind that she missed things at times or even completely missed appointments. I mean, really you do get what you pay for. However, it became silly to us to pay for a service that really wasn't cleaning our home to the point that we didn't have to follow behind each time and do things again.We left CGCS for a mom/daughter team that blew us away. They were double the price but did 100% better work. I never had to call them back for things they missed, but actually call to thank them for things they did that I didn't ask for! Unfortunately they are relocating and I've had to go back to square 1. We decided to give CGCS another shot - but this time I specifically went over exactly what my expectations were and the price went up accordingly. Which was completely fine. Our first appointment last week was completely more work for me than it would have been to just clean my home! The girl who came was very young and in spite my going over with her my expectations - she left our home after not doing a SLEW of items on her standard list, as well as extras I had paid for. She even phoned me to say that she didn't want to clean out the refrigerator because she didn't want to take all of the items out, in the case they would go bad. ARE YOU SERIOUS??? This company may be fine for a one-time clean on a home that is not clean to begin with, but for someone who has a clean, uncluttered home in general and expects the job to be done completely and without supervision - this is not the company for you. Just because I clean my toilet weekly, doesn't mean you don't need to do it when that is what you are paid for! We will be discontinuing my services indefinitely with them. The owner is very responsive and always sends them back to fix what they missed, but if they were more thorough to begin with - he wouldn't need to send them back or be so responsive to issues. On a side note, this morning the girl who came to fix what her co-worker missed last week was very good. She went over the list with me item by item however, it was the email she was sent from the owner and I saw that he had said, "she is quite picky". Well, yes. I guess I am quite picky - I like to get things that I pay for. I don't just hand out money for the sake of it. I'm sure that when he goes to get his car washed, if they miss the entire front hood - he wouldn't return for a second wash - and that they wouldn't assume he was PICKY!
