I highly recommend them. Even on the service after, they were exceptional. When I called them in the evening, they were able to come out the next morning. They are a very, very reputable company. Everything was competitive.I have worked with their technician Brian. Everything that Brian did say he would do, he did. As a company, I recommend them strongly.

Bryan - being true to his character- realized that I was having extra financial problems. When he was doing the regular maintenance - he also checked on the Contactor. Without telling me - he scraped and cleaned the Contactor to the best of his ability. He did such a fantastic job that he told me that he was very confident that the Contactor had been given a new life and could possibly make yet another year. He had always told me that I took very good care of my Air Conditioner. He told me to continue to do those monthly maintenance as I had always done and we should be able to make it. Of course, I was deeply pleased at his working extra hard in saving me the extra money in my time of need. This is not unusual for Bryan and his treatment not only for customers but for his fellowman. He is a wonderful human being.

This was my first experience with Angie's List, so after sorting through the criteria needed I called four different companies. One was out of business, one never did return the call and another company returned the call and scheduled a visit for several days later. When I left a message for Chill Air, I got a return call within an hour or so. Brian of Chill Air offered to come out early at 8am the next morning to inspect the problem so I could then go on to work. He not only was on time, he was there early to make it easier for me to get to work on time. He told me he would try to repair the pan if it was possible, and if not, he would need to give me an estimate on a replacement and schedule a time for the repair. He reviewed the system with me and explained clearly why it could not be repaired and would likely involve cutting the gas lines when he did the repair if they were not long enough to allow the coil to be pulled out of the unit while the pan was replaced. As he explained it, it was obvious that he was being candid and truthful. Before he left he gave me a worst case scenario estimate of $350, and said he would be pleased to do the work when I called him, if I selected him to do the job. There was no pressure or sales pitch. I did call him and he set up a time to do the work very promptly and called that morning to let me know he would be 10 minutes late because he needed to get gas and make another stop. When he came to the door, he took off his boots and kept them off any time he was in the house. He laid drop cloths in the furnace room to protect the carpet and all the way down the steps and out to the garage so there would be no mess. He was there for at least three hours, carrying the cooling coil to the outside so he could inspect it property and do the installation. He was in and out of the house many times to check freon pressures and do the other outside work necessary. It was hard work. He needed to rebuild a section of the drain pipes because they had been unnecessarily glued and had to be cut and rebuilt rather than just disassembled. He even insulated those lines before he left so they wouldn't and quot;sweatand quot; moisture that might leak into the ceiling area. He also checked the freon in the other A/C system and found it to be low on freon, for which he scheduled a return visit since he was not sure he would have enough in his tank to complete the job, and provided me with some helpful maintenance tips that could keep my A/C units working longer without expensive repairs. He advised me that when he returns, he will weight the freon tank in my presence so I will be confident how much was needed to bring the other system up to standards, since freon is expensive. When he left, he kept to his previous estimate even though it was long job that was not easy or uneventful. He also brought me a dozen filters, at my request, at a price that is less than half of what I had previously been paying. Brian's is a fine and respectful person you will be comfortable having in your home. His work was extremely thorough and competent and his pricing is very fair. I would have no reservations recommending him to friends or about hiring him again when the need arises.

As usual Bryan was thorough and he always cleans up after himself which is quite unique in itself. Bryan has told me little tricks of the trade to help me keep my A/C working properly. He has also told me of ways that other A/C companies trick people in spending more than they should. Because I change my filter each month and use a mixture of bleach and water to make sure that algae does not form in the rubber hoses outside - Bryan has told me that I do not have to do a yearly maintenance every year. That means saving money. He has told me that as long as I keep up with what I have been doing that I can call on him every year and a half to 2 years for my maintenance. Now you know why I trust and use Chill Air, Inc. They service all Makes and Models. Their motto of High Quality, Low Overhead and Affordable Prices are to be believed. Take it from one that has experienced that motto. Bryan Brewer is out to deliver good customer service that he can be proud of and we can reap the benefits.
