I was referred to Phil by another garage door company who was not sure what part to get for my door. Several garage door companies told me I had to replace the door but only the bottom was messed up. Phil answered right away, knew about Stanley doors and how they went out of business, came by within a few days with a part, did the job quickly with his son and we talked about being locals. Excellent. I texted the owner at a very busy time, shortly after Hurricane Irma, and he called back within ten minutes and promised to have someone at my home by the end of the day. Repairman arrived mid-afternoon, explained what happened and what he was going to do and about how long it would take. The charge was very reasonable. I was perfectly satisfied and will only call Phil at Central Florida Doors for any garage door work.

Phil was friendly and professional. I called him to see if he would provide an estimate over the phone as most of the larger garage door companies would not offer that. He gave me the exact price that he charged me. He was also able to come the same day I called. I recommend Phil and Central Florida Doors to anyone in need of garage door repairs.

Excellent company. The first company that came out told us that we needed to replace the entire door, garage door opener, and spring. The estimate was 1,300 for the garage door, which did not include the labor or the cost of the garage door opener. Phil and his son from Central Florida Doors came out later in the week. They advised that the door was in great shape and that they only needed to replace the broken spring and the garage door rollers. They also informed us that the garage door opener was an older model but that it would last us for years with proper maintenance. I asked them to install a remote key access, radio receiver and transmitter (which required a second visit as they needed to order the parts). The total cost was $317.50. They were honest, forthright and did not attempt to upsell us unnecessarily. We would definitely use them again and will recommend them to any friends in need of garage door replacement or repair.

Tech came when he said he would, he removed the old logic pad, replaced it with a new one and the garage door started to open and close again.

They gave me advice on how to maintain the door and they actually showed me how I could repair a broken window on the door which is a service they provide, but I could do a lot cheaper. I found that incredible! Phil Spence and his son were extremely nice and prompt. Their estimate was right on the money - very fairly priced.

I can guarantee that you will feel like your life has been improved just by meeting Phil, he is that nice. He is very honest and dependable. He will give you a fair price and does a great job. He repairs and installs garage door openers as well.

From the quote process to the removal of the old door and installation of the new door including the trim finish, this company was outstanding. Very competitive price, on time delivery, flawless installation and clean up. I was totally and completely satisfied.
