The job was done in a timely manner, but I have had to have them back several times to fix leaks.  I still have evidence of these leaks on my ceiling as I have a popcorn finish and their repairs did not match the existing ceiling.  Still, they did respond in a reasonable amount of time to fix the leaks.  Recently I was told by a different roofing company that the flashing on the fireplace was never replaced and I have tried to get through to this company to come out and look at this problem.  I even offered to get an estimate from them on some soffit and facia repair that I need done.  I have called them several times, and have only been able to get a hold of Matt once.  As a result of this call he said he would come out that day (5/3/12) and give me a call when he was on his way.  Well, he never came or called.  The other calls I made - four different times - were answered by their answering service, which told me they would take a message and call me back, but I have heard nothing from them.  I am writing this on 5/9/12 and have since had 1 other company come and give me an estimate and 2 other companies scheduled for next week.  The one that came out - called me in a timely manner - and showed up right on time.  They also confirmed the fireplace had not been properly flashed.  This is a different company from the first one that told me of the problem.  Obviously this company (Brite Top Roofing) does not stand behind their work!  I am very disappointed, as their mistakes in re-roofing my house has led to expensive repairs as a result.

They did a fine job.  I did have a white roof put on and there was a person who walked on it with tarred shoes, for which they compensated.

It took a couple calls and several days to get a response from the person who does the repairs. He said they weren't responsible but that the repair would not cost much. He agreed to come out on a Sunday morning to make the repairs, and then he didn't show. When I called, he did not answer his mobile phone, and the voice mailbox was full. I called the main number on Monday and asked them to set up another appointment, and I never heard another word. This company does not seem to take appointments seriously or entertain the possibility that they might have made a mistake. I will look elsewhere.

Went very well. Materials delivered, old roof removed and hauled away, ice and water shield installed, new roof installed, new vents added, vent stacks painted. One section of roof cap was not installed to satisfaction of foreman, and they came back and replaced. Nails and material around yard were cleaned up. Have never had a leak since replacement. Dale (owner) was excellent to work with.

They did a good job. I will use them again in the future.

This company replaced my roof in 2005. I paid extra for algae resistant asphalt shingles. The work went fairly smoothly with a few exceptions that were eventually fixed. I contacted them months ago because I have terrible algae stains on the roof. I have called at least six times and I am always told someone will call back but nobody ever returns my calls. The roof is covered by a 25 year manufacturer warranty but I guess that means nothing.

The owner, Dale, was the only roof contractor among those we contacted that would work with the insurance company on our situation. He was extremely knowledgeable and professional. His crews showed up on time, and performed the tear off, re-nailing, and dry-in in a reasonable time. They even re-installed two plumbing vents that the previous roofer had ignored. When he found something that he thought could be done a little better, he got the crew to re-work it. The result was a great looking and tight roof. The proof was in June, when the downpours started, and we had no leaks.

I had a mixed experience with Brite Top. First, I had trouble finding roofers who would do shake roofing. The ones I contacted seemed either shady or reluctant to give a written estimate. Then Buddy from Brite Top came out a did a very detailed estimate, explaining precisely what went into the price. He seemed like a stand-up guy too, so I signed. Getting the job done was a problem, though and one I blame more on the Town of Davie than Buddy. The material was delivered promptly and the workers tore off the new roofing, prepared the roofs and put up a section of shake for inspection. Then began a long run-a-round as the inspectors kept changing their minds over what was proper code. Buddy didn't always keep me up to date on these delays and I had to call him twice to find out when the roof would be finished. But once the final hurdle was cleared, the work was finished quickly and cleaned up well--although I had to call one more time when they forgot the last pile of debris.

I was impressed with the work done and the roof passed on the first inspection with the City of Orlando. They came across a lot of rotted wood and a few other surprises and were able to respond quickly. My only concern was the salesman. He was unreliable at returning calls to schedule the job and always had excuses for missing appointments. I also asked for a two day notice so that I could board my pets, but got the call after 5pm the day before the project. Also, once the work was completed, I never heard back from the company and had to schedule my own inspection, never got a call to see if I was pleased, etc. I finally got a call from the salesman about a week later seeking the check. Overall, though, I was happy with the end result.

Probably the best experience I've ever had with a contractor and crew. Every detail was handled by Mr. Manwaring, including contacting our insurance company, pulling all permits, waiting for work in progress approvals etc. Crew was clean, fast and did a wonderful job. They were pleasant and professional, working as a unit. Mr. Manwaring stopped by every day, until job was completed to our satisfaction. Recommended Company to several neighbors, as we had all experienced some sort of hurricane damage and usually roofing contractor stories are nightmares. Not ours. Thanks Brite Top. This was a very good experience. Brite Top delivered on time. The job was completed quickly and done RIGHT! No, they didn't get every one of the nails, but they made every effort, using a large magent. No payment was expected until the job was COMPLETE! NO DEPOSIT REQUIRED!!

Excellent. Professional. Competitive price. Workers took pains to remove roof debris from pool and garden without damage plants.

Very good company to work with. Offered one of the lowest bids. Charged only for the wood materials to replace rotten wood. Completed the job in a couple of days and cleaned up everything. Very pleased with the roof.

They did a good job. They did others in the neighborhood & no one has complained. There was a small leak but they came back out & fixed it right away.

Justin Dowd 561-424-1426 gave us our estimate and supervised the work from day to day. When any problems came up he stayed in touch and resolved them. Work was started quicker then the time estimate given and from job start to finish took 2 weeks. Roof passed inspections after some small changes, quickly done, and one problem I didn't feel was right was quickly resolved. Work site was cleaned up every day and the roof looks great. Overall very professional job from everybody involved.

I THOUGHT THEY WERE EXCELLENT. THEY DID EVERYTHING IN A VERY TIMELY MANNER. THEY DID EXACTLY WHAT THEY SAID THEY WERE GOING TO DO. I REFERRED THEM TO SEVEN OTHER PEOPLE, AND THEY DID A GREAT JOB FOR EVERYBODY.

THEY ARE A GOOD COMPANY. THE GUY THAT WAS HANDLING THE JOB WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL, BUT THE CREW YOU HAD TO KEEP AN EYE ON. THEY DID A GOOD JOB, BUT I FELT LIKE I HAD TO STAY ON THEM TO MAKE SURE THEY REPLACED EVERYTHING CORRECTLY. THEY TOOK CARE OF THE PROBLEM IMMEDIATELY AND DID A GOOD JOB ON MY ROOF.

They did a good job with the roof and cleaned up very well. I don't have any complaints except the they calls weren't returned very well or promptly, but I would recommend them.

The team of roofers worked very quickly to get the roof finished in a timely fashion to prevent further damage from rains during the repair time. They did not do a thorough job of picking up leftover roofing nails. We pulled several from our shoes. The roof failed inspection a couple of times because of exposed nail heads. It took many calls and return visits to get the items fixed and have the roof pass inspection.

In August of 2005, our roof developed a leak that our insurance company determined was due to Hurricane Charlie from 2004. Brite Top was very professional, and worked diligently with our insurance company to get them to cover our entire roof and not just a partial repair.

BRITE TOP ROOFING WAS IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD GIVING A NEIGHBOR AN ESTIMATE. I WALKED OVER AND ASKED IF THEY COULD GIVE ME AN ESTIMATE. THEY CAME OVER WHEN THEY WERE DONE WITH OUR NEIGHBOR. THE PRICE WAS THE LOWEST OF THE ALL ESTIMATES WE RECEIVED AND WORK WAS DONE ABOUT A MONTH AFTER THE DATE THEY SAID IT WOULD BE DONE. REMOVED OLD SHINGLES, REPLACED SOME ROTTED WOOD, REPLACED SHINGLES AND CLEANED THE YARD UP VERY NICE.
