Bob and his son arrived on time, were extremely neat and professional. They were not the least or the most expensive of the quotes I received. Will be calling again for other areas of my home.

We needed a dry wall repairman to come very quickly to make repairs because we were putting our house up for sale in the next few days. He helped us out, immediately fitting us into his busy schedule, and came promptly the next morning just as he said he would. He started working immediately and did a fantastic job of repairing the 2 spots on our garage ceiling. When the paint dried you could not even tell where he had done his repairs.
He was prompt, courteous, professional and did a great job, wasting not a minute.  I would most definitely hire him again and would highly recommend him to anyone without any reservations.

They did a nice job with the ceiling although I did not get what I wanted. There was poor communication and instead of a smooth ceiling, I got knock down, which I had never heard of and did not want, but it was too late they had already sprayed almost my entire house. My original review of them was based on this service and overall I thought they did a nice job.
As for the sheet rock, it was the worst job I've ever seen. The walls are uneven and my husband and I had to go back and resand before we could paint. Even after they came back and repaired some spots it looked awful. You would never guess we had new sheetrock put up. Additionally, they didn't number the trim and we were unable to put most of it back up because it no longer fit or we couldn't figure out where it went.
They were very nice and professional, but that's where it ended.

He did a marvelous job and the ceiling looks brand new. He's very pleasant to work with. He was accommodating and was able to schedule it at my convenience. He taped of all the walls and covered all the furniture and the floor so it wouldn't have dust going throughout the house. I had absolutely no mess after they completed the job. He was absolutely a professional drywall person and it couldn't have been any better.

Just doesn't get any better.

It was quick getting the contractor out to do an estimate, but there was a lag in starting the job. It was a minor leak so no additional damage was done prior to his arrival. Job was finished satisfactorily in one day. Paint matching of interior paint was excellent.

After getting quotes from a few highly rated drywall contractors off of Angie's List I settled on Bob Hester. His price is fair and competetive with other highly rated members. However what set Bob apart was his obvious experience and professionalism. He has been in the business for over 40 years and it reflected in the way he approached the job and the quality of his work. The job took two days. The first day was replacing and retexturing the damaged drywall. The second day was painting the ceiling to match.

For both the initial estimate, and on both days of work, Bob arrived at the scheudled time. He takes the time to make sure you understand the work he is going to do and why it is necessary. He sets up carefully to mask and protect areas he isn't working. For the skylight work he came prepared to replace any damaged insulation, which was somthing none of the other contractors offered/mentioned to do. He prepped, replaced both kitchen and skylight drywall with no visible seams. He even took extra steps to blend the kitchen texture beyond the initial scope of work at no extra charge because he thought it would yeild a better result. When he left after the first day he made sure to immediately go and get color matched paint to be ready for the second day.

Again on the second day he promptly arrived and setup quickly. The drywall was painted and the finished result was fantastic and beyond what I had hoped. I had only hoped to reduce the unsightly lines and staining in the ceiling. After Bob was done you couldn't tell there was ever a problem. He cleaned and swept the area completely to avoid leaving a mess for the homeowner. He even took the time to fix a few minor areas I had spotted problems with in other rooms at no extra charge that were not even part of the scope of work requested.

You can get other estimates from other contractors on Angie's List if you wish, but for the quality of work you're going to get and at a price that is the same or more competitive than other highly rated contractors you won't need to look further. You can feel confident you're going to get the results you want with Bob.

I had a 4'x6' piece of drywall fall from my garage ceiling. I called Bob and the next day he came out to give me an estimate. He was very professional and told me he would get me on the books for next week. We scheduled the repair for a day I was at home. Bob and his son came out and fixed the hole in my ceiling. While working we engaged in some friendly conversations. Bob and his son did a great job. I would recommend him to anyone. He will be the only one I call if I need drywall repaired again.

I called Bob Hester Sr in tears due to unprofessional and unsatisfactory work by another contractor, pleading with him to come to my rescue sort of like Holmes on Homes. Bob Sr was not available due to eye surgery but he made his son, Robert Hester, Jr come out the next day to take care of my problem. Robert and Donald arrived on time, put down drop cloths throughout the room and hall, finished the tearout professionally, went to the store to buy supplies, sealed up the holes, put the closet back together, taped and painted the closet, painted the bedroom, and then changed out my light fixtures. Robert Jr is fast, efficient, knowledgable, and does good quality work. Words cannot express my gratitude to Bob Sr for taking pity on me, and to Robert Jr for coming so quickly and doing such a good job. Did I mention that Bob Sr had bid on the job but I had chosen someone else just because they could start sooner and included changing light fixtures? So in addition to being professional, reasonably priced, and providing good quality work, Graciousness is at the top of the list.

Bob gave me an estimate and was at the work site when I asked him to be. They did a good job, and cleaned up after themselves.

bob is very professional and trustworthy. he made sure my animals were safe and even came back the next day to see how the job looked and if their were any problems. He touched up one little area with paint

During Tropical Storm Fay, part of the ceiling drywall above the garage door fell. I contacted Bob Hester and he was very reassuring about my concerns about more drywall damage. He got his team scheduled as soon as possible. The job was done in a little more than a half day. Very nice job and good clean up. Great communication from Bob himself, always returning my calls in a timely manner.

Jimmy showed up on time, was polite and respectful. He and another employee completed the job in one day. They did very good work, cleaned up after themselves, and kept to their price. I would definitely recommend this company again.

Bob did a fantastic job on the ceiling and also repaired several large holes caused by a plumbing re-pipe we had done. He was extremely nice, very professional and kept the mess to a minimum. I would highly recommend him for drywall work.

Real good. Very nice guy. Went out of town after giving an estimate called me actually when he got back. Highly recommended.

Gave estimate on Monday and performed job on Friday the same week. Came right on time, did an excellent job of repair and cleaned up.

GOOD AT SELECTION OF COLORS AND DESIGN- IS A CREATIVE CONSULTANT FOR INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR PAINTING, FAUX FINISH WALLS AND FLOORS. HE PRESSURE WASHED THE HOUSE AND PAINTED THE EXTERIOR OF THE HOUSE AND THE KITCHEN. HE WORKED ON THE HOUSE ALL WEEK.
