"I have called three times this week and left messages . not sure where the confusion is"
"Hello [Member Name Removed] please call the office we were not aware of any issues with your project from 2013. Concrete inspection passed on 3/13/2013. Your project was completed in 2013, 4 years ago. 407-857-5079 Thank you."
More lies Bruce, I actually have you on a phone recording from a couple of years ago saying you got my messages about the leaking roof (which we didn't know leaked when you finished the job because it hadn't rained yet) Yes we loved how it looked but had to wait for the rain to see that it leaked. I also have another man on a recording acknowledging my call. So yes I saved both messages so just more lies on your part saying you didn't know about it. You did. Why not stop lying and just come face us, like a true professional would, and fix the roof like you should have the first time we called?
As far as you working hard for your money, so do we Bruce, and we saved long and hard to have that work done.
"In Response, we pulled a permit for this project on 4/28/2009 the project was Finaled out on 6/12/2009, that is 6 weeks from start to finish. The building permit # is BLD2009-02187 City of Orlando building department, for reference on time frame. The project did not take 3 months, this is a false accusation. [member name removed], we have not heard from you in 4 years until now, May 19, 2013. Our phone number,407-857-5079, has never changed. The leaks in which you speak of, were absolutely addressed at the time. This is a false accusation that we lied and did not address it. Now, 4 years later, it appears you are having issues. I, Bruce Rynearson, would welcome any phone call from you to assess and address any issues you might be having. This has never happened which would render myself completely unaware of anything going on with your room. This negative review, of false accusations of unprofessionalism, is unfair and untrue. This is the very first time in years I have heard anything on this situation from you. Just to address the comment on being messy, this is construction. Yes, there will be tools and materials everywhere in order to build any project. These were cleaned up and removed when the project was complete. We will always do our best to be as clean and tidy as possible and never leave a project messy. Your project required a lot of concrete which in and of itself is not ever kind to sod. Never the less you were an extremely happy client when we completed your project. The contract you signed required draws. We collected those draws as we completed each phase of the work we outlined on the contract and as you agreed to. Never once did we collect a draw if the work/phase outlined was not completed. [member name removed], I have never owned a brand new truck. I have worked very hard at this business and it has not been easy While I have learned making everyone happy is impossible, I will never leave a project, ever, if a client is unhappy. This was not the case with you. You were very happy. In closing, you wrote this negative review defaming my character with these false accusations. Very unfair and extremely unkind."
The owner, Bruce, came to visit and seemed professional to begin with. The estimate seemed good so we decided to go ahead with the work.
Once we signed the contract and paid a deposit the communication with the owner started to get worse. The actual start date for the project was not communicated to me, and after waiting 2 weeks for the permits to be obtained I got a phone call at 8am one morning telling me the work crew would be at my house in 30 minutes.
The job was supposed to take 2 days, but during the work one of the workmen dropped a power drill in my pool that shorted out my house, so they could not complete the job as planned and had to come back again the next day to finish. They did not call me to tell me this, but just left a note on my front door saying that the power had gone out and they would be back tomorrow, mentioning nothing about it actually being their fault!
After the screen had been built there were a few minor things that needed finishing so some of the final payment was held back and the owner said they would be done, along with scheduling the final inspections.
That was the last I heard from them. He would not answer my calls and would not reply to any messages I left. I tried calling him and leaving messages over 3 weeks and got nowhere. I also found lots of sharp metal shavings, offcuts of razor sharp aluminum in the bottom of my pool, and my pool filter was full of cigarette butts. ( And no, I don't smoke, in case you were wondering).
I have since found out that the county inspections were not done either, even though he said they were.
Do not hire this company. After a promising start they turned out to be totally unprofessional.
"We have done thousands of jobs and feel we are always professional. We apologize to this customer if we did not satisfy him in any way and we will do everything we can to remedy the situation. We try and do our very best at all phases of a project and we always will . We are sorry Member feels this way as well as his friend. Blue Skye"
