Beware of Azevedo?s Backyards LLC ? Potential Fraudulent Practices I am writing this review to warn others about my highly concerning and disappointing experience with Azevedo?s Backyards LLC. In good faith, I paid a hefty deposit for their services, only to be met with endless delays, unfulfilled promises, and evasive communication. When I attempted to request a refund due to their failure to deliver, I was informed that the company is allegedly preparing to file for Chapter 7 bankruptcy. However, despite repeated requests, neither the company nor their legal representative provided any verifiable bankruptcy filing details (such as a case number or court records). Alarmingly, their operations, social media pages, and online presence remain fully active, giving the appearance of a functioning business while they continue taking deposits from unsuspecting customers. What?s worse, the supposed attorney representing them has stated that the bankruptcy case is still ?in preparation,? l

My husband and I used Azevedo Backyards in 2021 to install turf in our backyard. While the experience required us to stay on top of them, the final product turned out well, so I felt confident recommending them to my parents this year. Unfortunately, this turned out to be a massive mistake. My parents have a large backyard and were excited to get it turfed. Azevedo came out, measured, provided a quote, and worked with them to choose a specific sample. After everything was agreed upon, they paid a $6,000 deposit and were told the work would begin the first week of December. As the start date approached, my parents received no updates. They tried reaching out multiple times via calls and texts but were completely ignored. My mother had to physically go to their office and demand to speak with someone. Only then, after an employee called their rep, did they finally get a response. Instead of apologizing or offering a refund, the company insisted on setting up a meeting?after ghosting

Please, do not waste your time with this company. They ripped me off $1,500 for a Sealcoat on my patio in driveway. I spoke to the owner and salesperson Augusto at least 15 times and they lied to me for years saying they would redo what was done incorrectly and in the end it would never do it. Save your money and your sanity find somebody else to do your paperwork

They did an amazing job. My yard looks absolutely beautiful. I'm so happy with the outcome. They did it all in 3 days which was fabulous.

Did a wonderful job on my patio. Neat and did not leave a mess. Would hire them again.

I did my backyard recently and hired Azevedos Backyard to install my pavers. My backyard is sloped and quite irregular and they did an outstanding job leveling everything and installing these beautiful pavers. I also asked for a small seating wall and a rounded edge and it came out exactly how I imagined. The team completed the work in a week, they were very friendly, knowledgeable and hard workers. They arrived super early and left late in the day and made sure everything was perfect. The owners are also great to work with. I highly recommend them.

Augusto and his team were AMAZING! The sales and planning phase with Augusto was seamless and he was so patient and helpful with my specific pavers color request. The installation crew were punctual, did excellent quality work, and made sure everything was cleaned up. I highly recommend Azevedo's Backyards. I am so happy with my paver driveway installation, their fair price & great customer service from start to finish!!

It is so refreshing in this day and age, to find this outstanding level of professionals in a business. Commencing with Mr. Gustavo Rocha and his attention to our desires for the pavers we wanted installed on our patio, and followed by the Leader of the project Mr. Joseph. His attention to detail in every aspect of the project, from leveling of the ground to insuring that every paver was in the correct and proper level and position. No hesitancy what so ever, to accommodate our wishes in the project. The complete team at Azevedoâ s Backyards wanted complete and total customer satisfaction. My project; installation of pavers and a retention/sitting wall in my backyard and installation of pavers in the entrance of our house went flawlessly, and every day, before leaving, every area was cleaned and swept. I wish I had photos to include. I recommend this business 100%, and wish them success.

It took almost 3 months to get work scheduled, with multiple follow-ups to even get the work scheduled. After I gave a deposit, there was minimal communication, which required that I chase them down to schedule work.

They did a fantastic job with no complaints whatsoever. I have recommended this company to my neighbors. Thanks

Gus was our contact for this project with Azevedo Backyards. His level of customer service is excellent. I did get several estimates prior to hiring. The bids were all within $200 of one another. I felt Azevedo Backyards bid was more inclusive of what actually needed to be done. Once the job began I did ask for two additional items. Their pricing and willingness to do add to the project was very fair. I cannot say enough about how beautiful the project turned out. Exceeded our expectations!! Quality work! Highly recommend!

Efficient and professional

Guz and the crew did a super job installing our pool / patio deck and also new firepit together with raised deck and path. Delighted with the result. Very professional and awesome customer service. Highly recommend this company.

They were very prompt for their estimate and actually arrived earlier than originally expected to complete the job, They were very conscientious, worked in rain and reviewed quality of completed project themselves and made some adjustments until they were satisfied. We have already started recommending this company for their excellent work for quality and being on time. Workers were very considerate and cleaned up area completely when finished. We are completely satisfied.

Very responsible. The were on time. Always communicates with you. The final project was awesome.

1) he called immediately after I put the request in 2) he came on time to the 1st appt we made 3) he set up a time to do the work, but was able to do it earlier 4) his workers worked all day and did a great job 5) he came back for the known finish work on time 6) My lanai is now draining great with all the recent rain we have and I'm so happy that we hired this company for this job. Well DONE!

They did an awesome job laying the pavers and removed all debris. I am very happy with the patios pavers they laid down

Excellent Quality work in the field On schedule start and finish Cleaned up well when done. The job was delayed by three weeks , I wanted to see an example of their work but none existed on the West side of Orlando.
