Description of Work: Installed new 3-ton Carrier air conditioner system. It went pretty well. Was quoted to take 6 hours to install. Ended up taking from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Was a very a hot day during the installation and worked the whole time non-stop. They needed to come out again to install a new thermostat and finish doing the ventilation leak check in out attic.

Description of Work: I had a broken water heater which I wanted to make sure was broken before I had it replaced. This was the main purpose for the visit, but as long as he was there, I thought he should check-out the rest of the plumbing, i.e. bathrooms, which have NEVER given us any problems (there are 4). The water heater was broken & could not just get tuned-up. Well, w/in 2 weeks from his visit (starting that week) all 4 bathrooms broke down. Too coincidental for me. It could be just bad luck, but my handyman never saw some of those problems before.

Description of Work: I called them for a routine check up on my AC. They came out as scheduled and cleaned the drain but not much else. They mentioned many other issues, one I thought would be covered by the check up and said that my AC needed coolant. Since then I have had 3 other AC techs out and all said the coolant level was fine and that the coils should have been cleaned during the check up. I doubt I'll use them again.

+ -1 moreHe first told me the roto service was around $200. I said that was too high, I had it done cheaper by them before. He checked his book and confirmed the price of $135. Don't know if he made a mistake earlier or was trying to get extra money. He was very disappointed that I did not opt for the camera service, diging up my yard, and repairing the pipe. That was very expensive, $624. He asked why I couldn't afford that much? He offered financing. He told me he works on commission and complained other coworkers got the better paying service trips. He said the other guys in his company would charge me more for this. After he left, I later was able to find the break in the pipe in my front yard and repair it myself. It took a good part of the day, but only cost around $30 in parts. On a postive note, my parents had the roto service done by another different company, and they were charged $175, so ArS seems slightly cheaper for this.
Description of Work: They came out because I had a sewer drain clog. The guy wanted to run a video camera through the line, locate the clog, the dig up the yard to repair the pipe where roots were getting in. I opted for the cheaper Roto-Service (spinning blade on a electric powered snake). Roto Service was done from just outside my house towards the street (i.e. he did not remove and go through the toilet)

+ -1 moreWhen they did the maintenance, they left a valve off and my freon leaked out. When I called them, they said it would cost an additional $150 to fix it. They came to fix it and then charged me$150 to fix it. they told me $79.00 and the repair man said it was in warranty. I didn't pay the $79.00 and they sent the bill.

Description of Work: I had two toilets repaired. One toilet had to have the inside valves replaced along with the flush handle. The second toilet needed to be completely pulled and the drain cleaned and re-sealed.
