Performed well at first - crew was on-time and made good progress. He rarely visited, except to collect agreed-upon payments. Then, the crew stopped coming as scheduled, telling me they had not been paid. After many calls, he came to collect a partial payment in advance of the payment schedule, so he could pay the workers. I agreed. Again, crew stopped showing up, so he personally came to finish the work. The quality was terrible - he damaged my carpets and applied inferior materials. The stucco work has to be re-done because the surface is so uneven that sight lines abutting windows and ceiling joints are wavy. He failed to finish trim work, and left the construction area a mess. I was a fool to finish paying him on the promise that he would return to fix/complete everything. I am now in the process of taking him to small claims court.
