Affordable Water Treatment

Thanks to Mike and Vlad for the work they did for me and my wife today. They got us a new water softener system in short notice and installed it the next day. Their prices were fair and I'd recommend this company to everyone. Thanks Affordable.

Once the guy came out he looked at the problem and quoted me 300 to fix. Which I was satisfied with. I ask him if he could look at my water softener when he was done to see if it was ok. I had no issues with it, but it is a new house I purchased and wanted to make sure it was running ok. Mysteriously when he was checking it out the control panel went out and had to be replaced. Amazingly he had 1 on his truck to fix. Now that it was broken I had no choice but to have him fix it. I was not there when he checked it out but seems a little convenient that a free check turned into a 400 repair I had no choice but to do. He started telling me I needed to spend another 500 that I declined. I do not know if he broke it or not. I hope not, but I will never use affordable again.

This job proved to be much more difficult than expected. Mike worked relentlessly in finding the right solution and equipment. Additionally, he honored his proposal when the equipment and labor proved to be much more complicated and involved. I highly recommend Affordable Water Treatment!! They are the best!!

Called them per Angie's List because the company indicated they provided repair/services to all makes of water softeners. Instead of repairing the softener they indicated the old system would not continue to provide the same water quality anymore. It would be necessary to replace the old system. I now have their system with a digital board which I cannot operate (as I did on the old system) to change the regeneration intervals or time. My well system person said the board was locked and I could not redo anything, which means I will have to call the company and pay a service charge to do any changes. Not happy about that, but the softener is operating OK so far.

I ended up calling the company that manufactured the unit. They said it was no big deal to fix the part. They ended up putting a kink in the hose, taped it off and it overflowed backing everything up. It ended up killing all of plants.

They normally check the well water. They put a bit of chlorine into the house water every once in a while. Their charges depend on the work done. The replacement of charcoal cost me $200. Their service charge is around $70. They are good. It is a couple and their son. They come in turns. They come right out if I have a problem. I like them and they are reliable. I will definitely use them again in the future.

Their tag was on the equipment when I bought the house. They have been decent.

Both techs were extremely helpful and even returned to help me out with a problem--and didn't charge extra. They seemed truly eager to please.

Tech arrived on time. Was very professional. Ensured that all systems worked after reassembly.

WE WERE VERY FRUSTRATED WITH THE SYSTEM AND HAD IT CHECKED BY ANOTHER COMPANY SEVERAL TIMES. THIS COMPANY LISTENED TO OUR COMPLAINTS, ASKED HOW WE USED THE WATER AND BY LISTENING FIGURED OUT THAT THE SYSTEM WAS NOT ORIGINALLY SET UP FOR OUR SPECIFIC WATER USAGE. THE TECH RE SET THE UNIT TO RECYCLE MORE OFTEN WHICH PRODUCED MORE SOFTENED WATER MORE OFTEN. THIS GAVE US THE RESULTS WE HAD BEEN LOOKING FOR.
