Advanced Coating Technologies

Multiple projects were done by Advanced Coatings Technologies inclusive of my residential garage floor, my lanai and pool deck. I have been attempting to get an estimate from ACT regarding doing our concrete garage entrance pad. I have previously written a glowing review but now after two years of leaving messages for Mr. Nelson (Owner) , and never receiving a return call with a response from Mr. Nelson, I feel it is time to re-write my review. Whereas the workmanship was great on the garage floor and the lanai, the pool deck coating had sneaker prints left on it which cannot be removed. The pool deck coating has been delaminating. If the workmanship is great but the company will not be responsive to its customers, they are no better than any other contractor in this state. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THEM FOR ANY WORK! I have even informed them, I would be writing this BAD REVIEW.

Went well at first and then had to call Tyler back out as floor was bubbling, cracking, discoloring and dulling. He has not returned since May 21st even though he had agreed to the issues that were arising. ACT appears to be not standing behind his warranty. We had thought he would as he seemed like a professional and in his return to the job after to observe issues, but we have not heard from him nor the manufacturer as promised in over 6 weeks since he was here even after us following up with several text messages, emails and voice mails. We are still trying to have faith, but losing patience as time goes on.

Excellent!  Love the product.  Have had for 6 months now, and no problem with keeping it clean.

 Came with 5 year labor and material warranty. A bit pricey, but the quality is far better than what I have seen elsewhere...this is professional grade stuff that looks like a car dealership showroom floor!

After we called, the company sent out a sales rep quickly who was knowledgeable, and professional. We got several prices and while ACT's was not the cheapest, we felt that they did the best job of educating us on the products and process. They have excellent references and have been around for quite a long time.

They showed up on the day they said and got started right away. They used a grinder to remove the old paint and smooth out the floor. The product that they installed has several layers that they applied over two days. When they were done they left everything neat and clean.

The floor looks great and we are very happy.
