ACTION AIR OF FLORIDA

We have a contract. It's $100 a year for service in Spring and Winter. Every body else seems to be about $100 for the annual twice-a-year service. They were punctual. Everything was good. They do a fine job. We've used them for years. It took maybe a half-hour, maybe 45 minutes to complete the service. He did a good job cleaning up. The tech was professional, he was timely, he did all of the appropriate service checks, and he did a good job. He did a good job. He didn't rip us off.

He is a great guy and has a great place. Price is excellent. Quality is very good. I use them all the time. Great guy.

We are in Orlando, FL and over a year ago we started having problem with our A/C system.  Within a year we had brought in two different A/C companies technicians and had no happy results.  Now, a few days ago after my husband called many A/C companies for quotes and information, we choose the Orlando/Orange County Action Air of Florida.   We were looking for a reasonable, reputable, dependable and trustworthy A/C company.   Since the first time we called the office at 407-521-0400, we received an excellent customer service from the office staff.  Then, when Mr. John Nowakowski called us to get more information about our unit?s problem and for pricing, we were very impressed with his extreme professionalism, courtesy, listening skills, polite attitude and expertise.   We were very comfortable explaining to him the A/C issue we had and he patiently and clearly explained what it was wrong with it in full detail.  He also informed us about their financial options which it was a relief for us.   Mr. Nowakowski, the office staff as well as the crew are extremely committed to provide an outstanding and excellent superior affordable service.    Their honesty, fairness, and trustworthiness are well beyond superior.  

The two gentlemen (Bob and Xavier) assigned to repair our system came in 15 minutes early and the work was completed sooner than we expected and the results exceeded our expectations.   Before they started the job, they checked the system and informed us in detail the problem.  They also covered our wood floor as well as the working area, very consider it of them. They carefully removed and dismantled the old air handler and replace it with a new one making sure there was not damage to the frame of the door where the unit is in the floor and walls of the hallway.   The job was done with and extreme carefulness and neatness.   These  guys were very informative, professional, friendly and courteous.  We received a fast, friendly, and professional top-quality service from a reliable, first class, sound company.   We are extremely happy with my experience and the results of a job very well done.   We highly recommend to anyone who might need or is in need of an A/C service to check Orlando?s Orange county Action Air of Florida first.   We assure you, you will be very pleased and happy you did, period.  In addition, they are very reasonable compare to other A/C companies we had called and had in the past.  (Donald & M. My experience with Action Air is 100% positive- they are highly competent and seem to offer competitive pricing for major repairs.  Unfortunately I did not have a service contract with them, and it turns out that during a maintenance visit another  company found that my Evaporator coils were leaking  and gave me an estimate of $2700-3900 to repair the system.  So, I got a 2nd
opinion from Action Air: $1380 to fix the system and had them come out to do the repair. They  came two days later at
my convenience, were 5 minutes early and first performed a thorough leak check to isolate the problem(s) (which the other company didn?t do).  They did the repair and did a second leak test to double check for leaks. The owner, Joe Thompson is a pleasure to deal with and obviously cares about customer satisfaction.

When our house was build 5 years ago, Action Air was the company that was subcontracted to install AC units. Unfortunately, the wrong AC unit was installed in our home. After a several years, the AC unit was tired and stopped working. We called out some AC repair people (not Action Air) and they informed us that the AC unit was different (smaller) than the one that was on the builder's paperwork. Action Air was on the paperwork so we called them immediately to explain our problem. The owner of the company called us back quickly and offered to replace the unit for free at no charge. This was obviously the right thing to do. Despite the issue, we were happy with the way the responded. It was professional and will consider doing business with them again in the future.

Let me begin by stating that my parents have used Action Air for 20 plus years and I always had positive feedback from them. I was aware that the air handler was running more than normal and the condensate pump was very noisy. I called and asked to speak with Joe on Thursday morning. At noon I called again and got him right away. They were swamped but he worked with me to get a time when I could be present - Sat 8-8:30 am. Sat at 9:10 am I had not heard from them so I called and found that the tech scheduled for my place had been sent on an emergency at 7:30am and they forgot to call. Kelly checked and then sent out Cline Frasier, their lead tech - with them 18 years. He was great! In no time he discovered a dirt dauber nest, cleared it and did a thorough check. After the work was completed I explained that Joe had given me an estimate for a new system in case it needed replacing. (ours is 16 years old) I then asked Cline to share his experience with me. Did the system need replacing now? He assured me that it was now running fine. He gave me suggestions as to when to replace it and with what. I was very grateful for the experienced advice! I was also grateful for his honesty. He could easily have told me I needed a whole new system.

We are still waiting a call back to see if they will come out and fix our air conditioner. This happened on June 21, 2013, a Saturday and called back on Sunday to see if ANYONE would come out. We are finally calling another company.

My neighbor recommended them to me. They were excellent. They were responsive and explained everything. According to my mother they were very nice. They did the job promptly. I can’t say enough about them. The cost was high, but they were pretty much within what I expected.

On October 23, 2009, Action Air of Florida, liscense # CAC053219 Cert Air, sent their representative to my house. My outside air conditioning unit had stopped working. Action Air of Florida's technician, named Cline I believe, using a multimeter/multi-tester tested the continuity of the fuses for the condenser unit and the compressor. I noticed the fuse seemed to have failed. Then he tested the compressor, he said it failed too stating, "it went to ground" and needed to be replaced. He proceeded to recommend replacing it with a new compressor unit costing approximately $1400 or a new outside condenser unit for about $2300. Assuming he was right, we scheduled the condenser replacement for Saturday morning at 0800 and paid Action Air of Florida's technician $100 by check for the service call. After he left, I wondered why he had not tried replacing the faulty fuses to see if the compressor would run. I replaced the fuses and the compressor and the entire air conditioning unit has operated flawlessly since. (Year and a half) I believe that Action Air of Florida intentionally and fraudulently diagnosed my air conditioning system in order to profit from the installation and sale of expensive and unnecessary equipment. I requested a refund of the $100, Joe Thompson refused.

I can't speak highly enough about the service performed. Wayne and Diego did my installation and midway through the day, John Action came over to make sure all was going well and that I was happy. I am extremely happy. John did a great deal of the pre-installation leg work, working with my condo association, neighbors, etc. It took the stress away from a stressful situation. After the installation was complete, Diego vaccumed what the floor covers didn't get. Always polite and professional. Fantastic work and company!!!!

I have been very happy with them since they installed my unit 2 years ago. When he came he showed me and my son how to unclog it ourselves so he did not have to come back every year and do it, which was nice so I know they don t want to rip me off. He is very good and they are all professional. I would highly recommend them, they are very knowledgeable.
